The location is unbeatable, located in a quiet side street right next to Roppongi Hills. From here you can easily get by bus to Shibuya, Shinjuku is just 5 stops by train away and everything you might need is just around the corner!
Fine dining, nightlife, lovely parks, quality shopping, museums, you can find all of that and much more in my lovely neighborhoods Roppongi, Azabu, Hiroo, Omotesando and Aoyama ) all in walking distance).
Our home is a two floor apartment so privacy is assured.

Arrival in Narita:
The easiest way is to take the "limousine bus" from Narita to the "Grand Hyatt Tokyo" which is just 3 min away from our house. The limousine bus counter is easy to find, just straight ahead after you leave immigration. The ticket is 3000yen per person which you might find a bit expensive but it is for sure the most convenient option as you don`t have to run around and look for the trains (or change trains on the way as there is no train going directly to Roppongi) nor to struggle with your luggage. It is a good 80-90 min ride on the bus.
For your trip back to Narita the limousine bus is the best option again. Please note that you need to make a reservation in advance for the trip from Grand Hyatt to Narita. Just stop by at the Hyatt and make a reservation a couple of days ahead of your departure!
Arrival in Haneda:
If you arrive in Haneda the easiest way to get to our house is to take the monorail to the final destination "Hamamatsucho". There just take a taxi to the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi where my friend will pick you up and guide you to the house. Alternatively you can take the "Oedo line" from Hamamatsucho to Roppongi and walk to the Hyatt but when you arrive with lots of luggage it's a bit painful. The taxi ride is about (phone number hidden) yen from Hamamatsucho to Grand Hyatt Roppongi.
Pease note the following before you book:
- TV is NOT hooked up to a network so you can't watch local or international TV (DVDs you can watch though!)
- we have one single bed (90cm) and one so called semi-double bed which is "just" 120cm wide. Additionally we have a Japanese futon in the closet upstairs you can use! The sofa in the living room is NOT a sleeping sofa.
- in winter it's gets quite cold. Please bring warm cloths and house slippers as the houses in Japan are poorly isolated and it takes a while to warm up the house. We provide extra portable heaters in case the a/c is not warm enough for you.
Bathrooms in Japan are usually without an a/c, so is ours. That means the bathroom is freezing cold in winter but you'll manage to heat it up by turning on the hot water in the shower a while before you'll use the bathroom. We are sorry for that but that's a normal thing in Japan.
- in summer it gets really hot and humid. Please only open windows with mosquito screens attached as otherwise bugs and cockroaches find their way in. You'll find cockroach spray in the house in case one of these creatures find the way in.

The apartment is in an excellent location - in the middle of Roppongi Hills and close to stores, restaurants and public transport. Nadine facilitated a late check in which I greatly appreciated.
Good size for Tokyo (up to 3 people) with kitchen, washing machine and a cute balcony (too cold to use as it was snowing..). Only issue was the apartment felt a little cold - it was snowing in Tokyo and the bathroom and toilet didn't have insulation on the windows.
This was a perfect place to stay in: we loved the appartment, the building and the street, the cell phone, mobile internet, passmo cards, and Orangina available in the nearest veding machine.
As Nadine says, the location is unbeatable: very close to everything that counts in West Tokyo, and metro is direct for main places in East Tokyo.
If you get overwhelmed by Japanese food, there is a MacDo open 24/7, and you'll find a french bakery selling baguettes on your way to the metro.... I really began to appreciate these on the 6th day of the stay.
Checking in and cheking out was easy to set up, and the proximity of the airport bus stop is a major advantage if you plan to go into hardcore shopping, and plan to handle heavy suitcases on your way back home.
Nadine was the perfect host. Although I did not meet her in person, she set up a seamless check-in process. The apartment was exactly as advertised, in an excellent location and was everything we needed. It's walking distance to the Metro, shops and attractions at Roppongi Hills and some fun nightlife spots. Best of all, it is tucked away on some side streets, allowing you to feel at home in a Japanese neighborhood. I would highly recommend this property not only for its amenities, but because Nadine and Christina took excellent care of us. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay in Tokyo was everything we had envisioned and more. If I am ever back in Tokyo (I hope!), I will be contacting Nadine again. Arigato! Happy New Year!
Nadine's place treated us very well. I was visiting with my buddy in September, 2013. The weather was beautiful. Nadine and her friend Christina were very responsive to my pre- and on-trip correspondence.
The apartment I believe is big - maybe even huge - by central Tokyo standards. There is an upstairs and downstairs with a bedroom on each and a cozy living room. There is an outdoor area upstairs which we called our personal rooftop beer garden. From there, can see your neighbors' homes and the Mori Tower befittingly towering above. The apartment is very quiet despite being a stone's throw from a major boulevard. The air-con kicked ass. The split-bathroom/toilet might not be so appealing for those who are picky about bathrooms, however.
Roppongi Hills complex is just around the corner. The descriptions I read about the Hills before arriving in Tokyo are of a shopping and eating complex, which gave me the impression of an American-style mall with a fast food court (bleh!). But, it is actually very tasteful and super modern, with outdoor courtyards and terrific eateries of all varieties. Very convenient and a great place to hang out to people watch.
Roppongi metro station is about a five minute walk. But there is a closer bus stop that will take you to Shibuya station in 10 minutes, which gives you access to a greater number of subway and train lines to get you places more directly. The Shibuya district itself is bustling, electric, and worth a visit.
And the Roppongi nightlife, well it's certainly a variety pack. The Oak Door bar in the Grand Hyatt is super classy. The Ritz-Carlton is also in the neighborhood at the Tokyo Midtown complex, which houses sharp and popular bars/restaurants. But you can definitely find plenty of debauchery (and cheezy) as well. And, these places stay open until five in the morning, if not around the clock.
Roppongi is known as an ex-pat district, so many restaurants and bars have English-language menus.
My buddy who travels frequently on business is accustomed to staying in world-class hotels. I was a bit concerned that he might find Nadine's place too homely. But he loved it, as did I. It's spacious and has a lot of character.
Thank you Nadine and Christina for opening the home to us.

The reservation was canceled 30 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Just returned last night from our 9-day Tokyo trip, and we're already missing it! Our stay in this Roppongi Hills apt. was excellent. The location is close to the train station, restaurants, shopping, and Tokyo Tower. No matter where we ventured to, our Tokyo home served us well. The apartment looks just like the pictures (we plan on posting more photos later) and was large enough for 4 adults. We also appreciated how Nadine (and Christine) provided excellent communication from beginning to end, and that the home was well-equipped. Nadine also provided us w/ "ready-to-go" subway cards, a mobile wi-fi, and a mobile phone. All three were necessities for us throughout our stay! The only reason the rating was a 4-star (instead of 5) was due to the cold...maybe it's because we're spoiled by California's weather, but we did need jackets when we were hanging out in the family room. Other than that, we highly recommend Nadine's apt as the place to stay.
Nadine's apartement is great, well located and you have room compare to classic Japanese apartment. Very quite place and everything is functional. Her friend Christina is helpful and provides us with good advice to visit Tokyo. They gave us a router WiFi that you can carry with you while visiting the city, very helpful to locate yourself and gather information of the area you are visiting. They also provide us a pasmo card that allows you to use the subway and bus. It can be easily refill. Roppongi is a rich area and like other place in Tokyo, very safe. I recommend that place.
Very nice place in the center of Tokyo.
Although we could not meet Nadine a friend of her, Christine took care of us superbly (Thanks in deed).
The house is just in the center of Roppongi with all its night life but at the same time very quiet to rest. The portable wifi router was definitely a huge plus as well as the bicycles.
I would recommend it for sure to anyone.
My husband and I decided to begin our Japan honeymoon at Nadine's flat and we couldn't have had a better start to our holiday! Both Nadine and her friend Chris who took care of us in Nadine's absence made us feel so welcome and at ease thanks to their generosity and hospitality. The apartment is very centrally located, spacious and extremely user friendly and there wasn't a question or request that wasn't met in the very best way by our hosts. We would like to thank Nadine and Chris one million times over for giving us beautiful memories of a city and a time in our lives that we will cherish forever.
