This suite was every bit as lovely, comfortable, and immaculate as the photos suggest. The suite is in a quiet, charming neighborhood, with a cozy, private little patio with chairs, table, and vase of gorgeous flowers just outside the door. Bed was super comfortable. Every amenity was provided-- blow dryer, microwave, minifridge, dishes, umbrellas, etc. The TV remote was voice-activated, which delighted my husband because he wanted to watch the British Open, and it was so easy to find. We walked to a fabulous breakfast spot 3 blocks away. Neighborhood is charming with lots flowers and well-maintained, cute bungalows. Sheldon was a great host. He was very accomodating when our check-in time changed. He was cheerful and helpful as he taught us the clever door-locking system. He had good information about the local farmers' markets and other areas of interest. I would love to stay here again!

The place is in a very quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed having a private bathroom, a mini fridge, a microwave, and all the amenities that I needed to make breakfast. The bed is very comfortable. Since my husband has difficulty with climbing stairs, we were glad to find this place on the ground floor. We could easily get to Downtown Seattle or the Boeing factory from this location. Sheldon was waiting for us when we arrived. There was no problem with communication.

Quite residential street within easy walking distance of public transportation, coffee shops, restaurants and night life. Sheldon is a very personable host. He makes you feel welcome. I will certainly utilize this location again.

We highly recommend Sheldon's place to stay. Easy walk to grocery, restaurants, coffee shops. Easy street parking. Not far from downtown Seattle. Sheldon had great tips about the area and even lent us a cooler for our exploring days. His tips were spot on. Thanks for helping to make our stay memorable! Robin and Victor

My parents had a great stay with Sheldon. Clean and comfy place, very nicely located in Phinney Ridge. Quiet, clean place and walking distance to everything on Greenwood Ave. Communication was great and flexible on check in and check out times.

I might get a little too descriptive and picky but the home was easy to get to using an Uber. I was welcomed by Sheldon who was doing some gardening and he helped me with the lock to get into the stay. He was welcoming and very knowledgeable gave me a tour throughout the stay and addressed all the necessary questions I asked concerning the room, the location, public transportation and touristy/sight seeing places in Seattle. He allowed me to get settled in and did not bother me at all throughout the entire stay. The room was a little smaller than what I expected from the pictures but very cozy. Everything was clean and the amenities were more than enough. I was a little rushed when I had to check out but all in all it was a good place to stay. Price was a little too much for what I would pay per night ($110) but considering I had nothing else than 200+ in a hotel in Seattle it was a good. Overall great host, very knowledgeable would definitely recommend for a cozy small budget friendly place in a great quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops, and easy to use bus system going into downtown Seattle!

Response from Sheldon:
Jeffrey was a first time Airbnb guest and I think he was a little off base in his comments. I actually allowed this guest to check out an hour past the regular check out time, but when he had not departed an hour and 15 minutes past check out, I had to knock and enter the space to collect the laundry. I explained that I was on a schedule and that my housekeeper was scheduled and that I had other commitments that afternoon. Really surprised to hear that Jeffrey felt "rushed" as he was allowed to stay beyond checkout. My pricing varies with the season and is sometimes higher and sometimes lower than what Jeffrey paid. While he may have wanted to pay less, as he correctly states, my space was much cheaper than the alternatives.

Hello, I have been hosting on Airbnb for 6 years and have had wonderful guests from all across the U.S. and the world: Canada, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Norway, England, Korea, Australia and Germany to name a few. I have truly enjoyed these wonderful people and look forward to meeting more of the Airbnb community and hosting you in my beautiful private studio. I recently added an additional option for guests. I now have a private bed and bath available on the 3rd floor!

Should you choose to stay in my home, you will find a private area for your use. I live above the ground floor studio that is listed

I am very well travelled- 21 National Parks in the US, several in other countries. I love hiking, backpacking, and generally being outdoors. I have river rafted the Grand Canyon and also in Alaska. If you are coming to Seattle and hope to visit Olympic, Mt Rainier, or North Cascades National parks, I can provide a little local insight.

I love living in a vibrant urban village. My area has all amenities within walking distance, and this is important to me. I try to drive as little as possible, and for the past 5 years, I have driven less than 5,000 miles per year!

I am an avid tomato grower, so in the summer months, you will see dozens of varieties growing in my very small urban farm. I also grow garlic, onions, potatoes, and some years I grow peppers.

I am a good cook (using all my great organic veggies) but I will not be providing breakfast except in very special circumstances.

As your host, I want to provide a good quality night of sleep in comfortable surroundings.
