  • Sheldon (email hidden)! He met me upon my arrival and explained all the features of this very comfortable studio in his home. The room was clean, neat and had all the features you could want; TV, microwave, coffee pot, fridge, etc. The location is perfect if you want to be in a friendly, vibrant neighborhood North of downtown Seattle. There is a local grocery very close by as well as coffee shops, restaurants and local bars.

  • Sheldon (email hidden)! He was very pleasant and personable and gave us good suggestions for where to eat and things to do. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The private bathroom and entrance were a big plus! It is located in a great little neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants only a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting Seattle and staying with Sheldon again.

  • Great accomodations. We especially appreciated the separate entrance since our comings and goings were at odd hours. Phinney Ridge is a great location and it was nice to be part of a local neighborhood. Sheldon is very helpful.

  • If anyone is looking for a private stay in a comfortable room with amenities such as high def cable TV and close to downtown (15 minutes by car), I would recommend that they consider Sheldon's place for their stay. Everything is convenient and close by. Sheldon is very helpful if you need anything.

  • What an amazing place to stay!!! The area is beautiful and perfect. So glad we didn't stay around downtown somewhere. The bed was sooo comfortable and pillows were amazing! My husband is making me ask Sheldon where he purchased them. Haha

The room was very clean and cozy.
I'm not sure if Sheldon had the a/c or heat on but he did have a window open when we arrived. I would recommend opening both windows though if you like to sleep in a cool room. When we only had the one small window open it was quite warm when we arrived back that night (and it was probably 60 degrees out). Once we opened the bigger window though it was the perfect temperature. Obviously check with Sheldon though to make sure his a/c or heat isn't running. We just figured since the window was open when we got there that it was off. It ended up being great!

We wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Sheldon was so nice and great to talk to. :)

Hello, I have been hosting on Airbnb for 21 months and have had wonderful guests from all across the U.S. and world: Canada, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Germany. I have truly enjoyed these wonderful people and look forward to meeting more of the Airbnb community and hosting you in my beautiful private studio. I recently added an additional option for guests. I now have a private bed and bath available on the 3rd floor! Should you choose to stay in my home, you will find a private area for your use. I live above the ground floor studio that is listed I am very well travelled- 21 National Parks in the US, several in other countries. I love hiking, backpacking, and generally being outdoors. I have river rafted the Grand Canyon and also in Alaska. If you are coming to Seattle and hope to visit Olympic, Mt Rainier, or North Cascades National parks, I can provide a little local insight. I love living in a vibrant urban village. My area has all amenities within walking distance, and this is important to me. I try to drive as little as possible, and for the past 5 years, I have driven less than 5,000 miles per year! I am an avid tomato grower, so in the summer months, you will see dozens of varieties growing in my very small urban farm. I also grow garlic, onions, potatoes, and some years I grow peppers. I am a good cook (using all my great organic veggies) but I will not be providing breakfast except in very special circumstances. As your host, I want to provide a good quality night of sleep in comfortable surroundings.
