This is a lovely, spacious STUDIO in the East Village in Manhattan. It is very clean and it's on a lovely residential street. It's a great place to relax after experiencing the high energy of the city all day long. It is on the first floor (up 6 steps from the ground floor). It's close to the L train 1st Avenue stop.
There are tons of amazing restaurants and cafes to go immediately nearby. It's walking distance to many art galleries, parks, Union Square, Gramercy, Greenwich Village, NYU, SoHo, LES, etc. The East Village is a great neighborhood to have a full-on NYC experience. There is history, art, culture, food, transportation and nature all walking distance from my studio. You are 1 stop on the L train away from Williamsburg, BK.
The apartment has a queen bed and a full (double) sofa bed.
There is a fully equipped kitchen ready to be cooked in; towels and clean linens are provided. The neighborhood is safe and residential.
*Please note* For check-in between 9:30pm and 11:00 a $25 fee will be imposed, and anything after 11:00pm it is $50.

Emily was very accommodating and allowed us to (email hidden) the next day since she did not have a guest that same day. We really appreciated that. She was prompt in meeting us on the first day and responded to all requests immediately.
Place is clean and cozy. Bed is comfortable. I would recommend.
I stayed in Emily's studio for 3 nights and had absolutely no problems. Studio was a good size (by Manhattan's standards), clean, nicely located, and had the essential needs for me (good firm mattress, sufficient heat, and decent water pressure). It was surprisingly private and quiet, even though on street side of first floor...the windows are higher than street level; you can sometimes hear elevator in hallway. The place comfortably fits 2 people, could squeeze 3 or 4.
Emily responded quickly to my messages and adjusted her schedule to mine for checking in and out.
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Emily was genuinely nice & responded quickly to any concerns we had both before and during our stay. The apartment was great, stocked with everything we needed (and more) and looked just liked in the pictures. I couldn't recommend it more.
Both the apartment and the host Emily have been very nice. I was staying in the apartment for almost two months and can not complain about anything, well maybe about the fact that there is no television but that did not really mattter to me. The neighboorhood is good too, a lot of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, subway at 1. Avenue and 14. Street is quite close too.
So I can only recommend the place to anybody who wants to visit Manhattan.
The apartment is an intermediate story so the main window has a grille and courtains. The apartment is spacious, perfect for 3 persons. It's a quiet and save neighborhood. Equiped with all you need if you don't want to eat outside. But outside is great in this area of eastvillage. There are many and tasty resaurants and cafes nearby. Subway (L) is a 5min walk, 2 stops to Union Square. There are also some 'but's: The housdoor is very loud when it slamms shut. And the on going argument about airbnb in NYC leads to a general feeling of unceartainty on both sides the host and the guest.
Obviously the host lives somewhere else in town and has this (rental)-appartment as an additional source of income which makes the situation not realy easier. Besides of these the restraints it'a good choice.
Great location to visit Manhattan. Place was just like the pictures in the add.
We stayed in Emily's flat for 9 nights and had a great time. It's quiet inside but in a vibrant neighbourhood.
Emily was very helpful and prompt in communication when needed.
About Emily I can't say anything since we did not see her. She sent a friend of her who was nice but did not anything about the neighborhood.
The flat is ok but could have been a little bit cleaner.
Awesome apartment; super friendly host. If you are trying to stay in the East Village, this place is as good as it gets!
Emily is a great host and very helpful. She answers every email and text message very fast. Even when we had some problems with the oven.
The apartment has a fantastic location, right in the East village next to all the night life/ bars but still quite. Apartment is clean and has everything you need.
