Napa Valley Dream Home-

Welcome to our home, I am writing this in hopes that you will be able to enjoy everything about the property that we enjoy about it.

Internet/Wireless: You can connect to Sprint and Verizon, although it can be a little iffy at times. Best place the front porch.

Telephone: The phone works for local calls if you need to make reservations at any of the fabulous restaurants in the Napa or Sonoma Valley. There is a magazine with all the local numbers in it. (Best idea: eat out for lunch and have dinner in.) Watch the sunset on the front porch. There are blankets to wrap up in on the Living Room shelves for when it starts to get cold.

Television/Satellite: Living Room and Master Bedroom both have satellite and DVD players. One other bedroom also has TV and DVD. There is a library of DVDs to choose from.

Fruit trees/Garden/Herbs: Please feel free to help yourself to any fruit on the trees and produce in the garden. Please do not pick more than you will use at the house. This will allow the next guests to also experience the joy of picking your own food.

Front Porch: There are cushions for the chairs on the front porch in the grey container, please return them when checking out. The seat back cushions are under the pool table.

Door Locks: Use the deadbolt only to lock the doors that is the only key you have for access.

Wildlife: You are in Napa country property; there is a lot of wild life if you leave them alone they will leave you alone. Some of the amazing animals you could see are: quail, finches, owls, bats, turkey vultures, wild turkeys, bobcats, coyotes, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, gofers, king snakes, rattle snakes, goffer snakes. AGAIN if you leave them alone they will leave you alone!(NOTE: the was a big goffer snake on the back porch Sunday)

-The neighbors all have pets and they can wonder on the property-it is best always close the gate is upon entering or leaving.

-Hiking is great here you can walk the roads or hike the country remember the country has poison oak and it is nasty when you get it. Be very carefull when hiking.(advise: when returning from a hike remove all your clothes throw them in the washing machine and jump into the shower, wash with something that breaks up oil (Irish spring works well).

-Preplan: Stop at one of the stores in town to get your supplies. There are some great stores, Nob Hill, Whole Foods and Trader Joes (All are located on Trancas between Hwy 29 and Silverado Trail). Check your list before you leave the store. You don’t want to get up the mountain to realize you have for gotten something you may need. A lot of the basics are up here for you to use.

-We have pool service and a gardener who come up once a week. They may not know you are there. Just an FYI

-The house has central vacuum, if you leave the doors open to enjoy both views until after dark you will be attacked by big flying bugs, best way to get rid of them is to use the vacuum. The hose is located in the laundry room with the hot water heater.

-Extra cues for the pool table are in the master bedroom armoire, please cover pool table when not using it, and please do not put drinks on the felt.

-There are pads for the lounge chairs in the box on the back porch marked ‘ups’.

-The outdoor Kitchen is there for you to enjoy. Some Charcoal is provided, but it is always good to pick some up on your way up the mountain. There is also a propane grill and there should be a backup tank available next to the grill should you run out of gas.

-Please strip the beds and pillow cases and put in the washer, when you are getting ready to leave. It would be a great help to have them washing for the next guest coming in.

-Please start the dishwasher on your way out the door, there is detergent under the sink for you to use.

Have a great time in wine country!

Family of 6 stayed here for my mom's 60th birthday and we had such an amazing time! The sunsets and sunrises are truly amazing! We had a small dog and the front yard was perfect for our dog to run around in. The house is further than we thought to get in and out of town (about 20-25 minutes just to get down & up the hill as a part of the road is only dirt) but we enjoyed the views and being away from it all. I would also advise everyone if you don't have a car to set up beforehand any car rides that you need as we were not able to reach Uber at all, even when walking down the hill a bit. Black Tie Taxi was great and always on time.

Great experience. We enjoyed the house and the amazing surroundings. The views of the neighboring vineyards and sunset were really great. If you want to get out of town but still be close enough to the vineyards - this place is perfect.

We had a fantastic time at Reyna's place: we were looking for a laid back, relaxing time, and we were able to unwind completely in this gorgeous area around Napa. Thanks to the great kitchen as well as outdoor cooking equipment (which includes a pizza oven), we were able to craft amazing meals, which we paired with local Napa wines. The wineries are just a short drive down hill which makes it all the more convenient. We also were able to get directions and information in advance of our trip, so we were perfectly prepared for our "retreat" in the Napa mountains. All amenities were available and provided as described + more goodies in the fridge to get us started...! Unfortunately, the weather did not enable us to fully enjoy the pool, and if we had been able to we might still be up there! Thanks a lot Reyna (and Becky) for having us at your place over a week end which is now filled with amazing memories.

We just spent 4 nights here in Napa Valley. The host was great to work with and the setting up in the hills was so peaceful. You won't get much closer to the amazing star display you will experience after watching the sun set. This is a great place for families or for several couples looking to get away. We played a lot of pool and there is a big selection of movies to choose from. We didn't use the pool or the pizza oven but if you were spending your days here those would be fun. On the other hand, it is a long, bumpy drive to get anywhere from the house. The closest store closes at 5:30 PM and there is nothing else within 1/2 hour of the house. Just a factor to weigh when spending the money to stay here.

This house was perfect for what we were looking for! The views were spectacular - we especially loved watching the sunset from the front lawn. The pool was great fun for our group and we had a blast making pizzas in the pizza oven. Inside the living room was comfortable and perfect to play board games at night, and the pool table was a bonus. Reyna and Becky were excellent hosts - we'd definitely rent again!

This is a beautiful property to get away from it all. Everything worked as advertised, the pool was amazing to cool off in, and we finished the weekend having mastered the wood-burning oven. Would highly recommend it as a place for a medium-sized group with a dog. Plan on spending at least one whole day at the house as you have tons of outdoor space that's beautiful to enjoy.
