We had a lovely time staying in New York City. Cindy was a great host, she helped us with everything she could, even offer us the possibility to move in a bigger room so we could have a better and more relaxed stay.
Thank you so much for everything and if we ever come back to New York City we will definitely book one of your rooms again.
We spent 6 days in the apartment and I must say it was just what we needed. It was our first time in NY and obviously the subway was very important to us. The apartment is between two subway stations, the 125 and 135 ST. and it's a 5 minute walk either way. We would normally use the 135 ST to go downtown except when we needed to make other connections.
We didn't get to meet Cin but Louise handle all of our stay. The check in and out was very flexible, when we arrived we went to get the keys at Louise's place, and for the check out she kindly arranged for us to leave the keys with another guest. The apartment is three bedroom and a bathroom. When we went there were 4 other pleople, so there were 7 of us in the apartment. The other guest were nice and didn't bother us at all. In case the bathroom became an issue we used it very early.
The area seemed a bit scary at first, since this is predominently a black/hispanic neighborhood but we arrived at (phone number hidden) am each night and there are no horror stories to tell.
We did have the keys to the apartament and room which was very important to us.
Overall I must say the stay was pleasent, good value for money, reasonably located, safe, and the park across the street is a plus.
We would definetly stay there again, the three of us loved the apartment!!!

Cindy was easy to talk to and was prompt to reply to my request for accomodation. Also she was flexible in terms of accomodating the needs of my daughter and myself. I felt comfortable there and relaxed in the apartment and free to use the available kitchen and bathroom facilities. The apartment is very well located and easily accessible to transport mary and christabel patterson
Second time there. Cindy is always a great host and the apartment is amazing. Read my other review for details. In summary: perfect place, definitely recommended.
This place is amazing: completely renewed house on 20th floor looking on the park on St. Nicholas Ave. The room was perfectly clean and really nice. It's the perfect place to stay, the neighboorhood has everything you may need, at any hour and the train to downtown Manhattan is at a 5 mins walk. From there you get to everywhere in Manhattan in less than 30 mins. Cindy was a great host: she even helped out with my search for a permanent place to stay in NYC (I'm working in the city). Definitely reccomended.
Cindy is a very welcoming and accommodating host. She offers a clean, comfortable and peaceful sanctuary minutes away by train from the hustle, bustle and grit of Downtown New York City. When I go back to New York, I would definitely consider staying there again.
