Looking for a rustic 19th century vibe, surrounded by woods and a working farm?

Book this 100 year old carpenter's workshop cabin. Enjoy playing cards by a roaring fire, exploring the valley by day and frying steaks while listening to blues on our tape deck at night. Finish your novel, escape the city, in our romantic wildlife-filled property.

**The vibe is RUSTIC**

** Always sanitary without loosing that 100 year old house charm**

** We practice all the CDC's COVID safe guidelines**

The space
The cabin is approx 850sf and has one bedroom and one bath. It is heated by a vintage Fisher wood stove, and a couple of space heaters. This is how humans kept warm before central heating. we'd be happy to show you how to keep the fire going throughout the day and night. Just ask!

There is a small yet fully outfitted kitchen. Complete with coffee fixins. Full sized stove, sink etc. No Microwave!

Our house is about 500 feet away behind a stand of trees, so, you have tons of privacy with ample parking. But we are close by if you need anything at all.

In August there will be abundant wild blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries to pick. We are rehabilitating the farm; adding trails, gardens, and hopefully animals soon. We have two farm dogs that generally stay in the front yard where it's fenced. They might venture out to greet you and your pup. They are very friendly but excited to meet new people.

Nearby there are many berry farms including Bow Hill Blueberries (they sell blueberry ice cream, berries, even pickled blueberries). Samish Bay Cheese is five mins down the road and has amazing cheeses, meats, wine, beer, and the best cheesecake on earth. Breadfarm in Edison is considered one of the best bakeries on the West Coast. If you like oysters, Taylor Shellfish on Chuckanut Drive is one most picturesque places to eat them. there are so many more farm stands and farm tours in the Skagit Valley (we have a map if you need one).
