Your Modern Mountain Getaway is a peaceful mountain cabin just 2.5 hours' drive from Denver and 1 hour from Colorado Springs. Built in 2017, situated on 3 wooded acres, the cabin offers privacy without isolation. Large windows bring the outside in with treehouse-like forest views and gorgeous sunsets. This home appeals to those who want to enjoy the beauty of the mountains without the usual dark, cluttered cabin kitsch.
Elevation is 8353 ft. A 4WD vehicle is nice but NOT needed 99% of the time.

The space
If you’re a “glamper” who loves nature but also wants a complete kitchen, the most comfortable bed and a hot shower or deep tub to soak in, you’ve found your happy place!
Wander the property and have a little picnic in the wooded area or on the rocky hillside. Daydream in the hammock. Play board games or yard games. Grill on the patio. Gaze into the outdoor fire table, over which you can whip up a tasty batch of s’mores if you like!
It’s easy to enjoy this property year-round because we are in a ‘banana belt’ and tend to get less snow than Denver and Colorado Springs!

We hope you will just want to stay in, soaking up the peace and beauty of this special place. If you want to explore the area further, you’ll find a huge array of activities and attractions within 30-60 minutes. The drives to these places are enjoyable experiences in themselves, usually with more spectacular scenery than traffic. Wildlife abounds, not to mention llamas, goats, and cows galore. Check out my Guidebook, attached to my profile. Always book your activities as far in advance as you can, this is a popular region, especially in summer.
