  • Wayne and Sonnie were wonderful, interesting, and generous hosts, and my boyfriend and I had a great time staying at their beautiful pueblo. They gave us some very useful travel tips on Bend (where to eat, what to do), and we had an amazing breakfast in the morning! Plus, the mountain view from our room couldn't be beat.

  • Wayne and Sonnie's home is beautiful and they made it very welcoming. We woke up to a pleasant view of the mountains and deer playing in front of the window. We had a great stay and enjoyed talking with them over breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to return!!

  • Wayne and Sonnie are wonderful hosts, very accommodating, kind and interesting people. The house is lovely, and the surrounding mountain views are amazing. Wayne cooked us a delicious and filling breakfast each morning. The location was right between Bend and Smith Rock, so it was very convenient for both rock climbing and spending time in the city. It is a great get away and I would highly recommend staying at their place!

  • Wayne and Sonnie were fabulous hosts and their home is beautiful! We loved the design and art in the house and of the home itself. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view and Most importantly we felt so at home and welcomed by Wayne and Sonnie. We enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast each morning and a fantastic dessert the first night we arrived. This was our first airbnb stay and the bar was set very high. We would absolutely go back or recommend them to anyone.

  • A wonderful stay in a beautifully done, southwestern style house. It was far enough out to occassionally hear the coyotes, but close enough to drive to Bend and environs for whatever I wanted.

Sonny and Wayne were very kind and offered to make my stay pleasant in many ways. I will undoubtedly choose this place place again!
I have nothing but good things to say about this retreat.

  • My wife Karen and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Wayne and Sonnie. They have created a wonderful home, in a beautiful spot outside of Bend. Our substantial and tasty breakfasts felt like hanging out in the home of good friends, and as a pretty strict vegetarian, they had no problem accomodating us. The room was lovely, everything was clean and comfortable, and the house was beautiful, and unusual. We have already recommended it to others, and hope to visit again.

    Response from Wayne,Sonnie:

Hi Jack,thank-you for your review. We are open year round and look forward to seeing how busy we are this fall/winter.We have had two longer term guests since you were here.We expect fewer guests is all we commented on.

  • We had such a wonderful stay with Wayne and Sonnie. They have a knack for making guests feel comfortable and at home and they also helped us to find appropriate hikes to do. Their home is very astefully decorated with lots of beautiful art, tile and stonework. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat if and when we pass this way again!

  • Fantastic Stay!
We highly recommend the Pueblo. If the location and incredible mountain views from almost every room in the house were not enough, if staying in the coolest dwelling in Bend were not enough, then Sonny and Wayne are reason enough to choose this place as your central Oregon base camp.
Sonny and Wayne are gracious hosts who thought of everything. There was a power strip with the WIFI password right next on our desk and they always remembered our morning beverages of choice. They answered all of our questions about the area knowledgeably.
The property is interesting. There are amazing details in the stonework in all of the rooms. The décor follows the southwest theme of the house. There is a friendly dog.
We stayed in the room without an attached bath. The sleeping was decadent. The bed was very comfortable. We kept the shades open but could barely rouse ourselves to watch the sunrise over the mountains from our pillows. We did not hear the other couple come in later.
The food was also delicious. We had yogurt and granola with a giant fruit salad on Saturday morning, special cornmeal-berry pancakes on Sunday and a Mediterranean omelet on Monday.
It felt almost like a holiday weekend with family that you were excited to spend time with. We had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. We spent more time at the B&B than we had planned because we were enjoying Sonny and Wayne and the comfortable atmosphere from which to enjoy the views so much.

  • Wayne and Sonnie were excellent hosts and we had the chance to meet another couple that was staying at the house. It was great chatting at the kitchen table, eating a delicious breakfast and hearing about everyone's adventures. We'd definitely stay here again.
