Cleaning fee and Security Dep. will increase with weekly or monthly stay.

Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am.
Dog or cat might be allowed, as we are pet lovers! will need to discuss further and provide information/photo about your pet and pay an extra Pet Fee of $40-100 depending on length of stay/situation. Paid at Reservation Pre-Approval.
Diane and David are WONDERFUL hosts. They take their roles as hosts very seriously, and this is apparent from before you even arrive at their home (Diane sent me photos of the outside christmas lights so we were able to find our way to their lovely home), until the minute you leave their presence. The location could not be closer to adorable downtown Ashland. Your home for those few days gives you a taste of the best of the "the good ol' days" and you will be happy to find coffee waiting for you to french press in the morning in your own lil' kitchen and any Roald Dahl book you prefer to read in bed. Diane and David are the ideal Superhosts in my book :)
Our Family loved this cozy little apartment! Great location and very reasonable price. I have to say Diane and David are amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome (even though we arrived on Thanksgiving) and were very gracious hosts. We had a great time in Ashland and will be back!
Thanks, Michael and Ally! We loved meeting you and your sweet kids! Come back anytime. We are remodeling in Jan. and will be building a custom sized shower, more open and roomy, and some new flooring, carpet, appliances, and paint. Will still keep it kid and pet friendly!
What a lovely warm nest! This sweet little Ashland spot has a full kitchen and a separate living room and bedroom. The queen bed was exceptionally comfortable and I think I had the best sleep I've had in years! The hosts are such lovely people and not only welcomed me warmly to the apartment but also invited me to the First Friday Art Walk and to their home for a delicious dinner! Genuinely kind and interesting couple. You couldn't ask for a better (email hidden) walkable yet tucked away with your own parking spot. Wonderful and relaxing visit to beautiful little Ashland. :-)
Tammy, you know we loved meeting you and hanging out with you!! We hope that someday you will bring your hubby by and introduce us and we can share a glass of wine and gratitude! Enjoy your travels and changes and we hope you find the best solution to your new found options for life!
Really nice hosts who live above unit with their sweet dog who was super nice to my little dog. We really enjoyed our stay. The best part was the location being right next to the historic main street in Ashland, so everything you want to see, eat, or buy us just a minute walk away. And Diane, one of our hosts, had really good suggestions regarding where to eat, shop, etc. The one thing to note is the ceiling height. It was fine for me and my husband, but if you're 6' or taller, you will probably spend some time stooping.
Thanks, Brook. We are glad you enjoyed your time here. And we loved meeting Sweetpea!
Transparency about the ceiling height is very important to us that is why we have written the ceiling height info in five different info sections on the listing:
1. Summary 2. Details 3. Guest Access 4. Extra Details 5. The House Manual.
Take care, Diane, David and McKenzie
Fresh flowers, and a warm greeting from Diane, David, and McKenzie (woof) was bestowed upon us. Diane left a detailed list of local eatery recommendations and they were spot on. (The one time we strayed from her suggestions, we were disappointed.) She even gave us a great referral to a hair dresser which was perfect.
We loved our stay in Ashland. We parked our car and didn't use if for the whole week we were there. It was a shorter walk from our apartment to the theaters and downtown than it would have been if we had moved the car and tried to use the scarce public parking.
Clean, comfy, and lots of kitchen and bathroom towels were included for our full six days.
We couldn't be happier and will stay here again when next in Ashland.
Diane and David checked, but not in an intrusive way, during our stay to see if we needed anything. We ran into each of the them separately downtown one day and were greeted with a hearty "hi neighbors" and "how were we doing" inquiries.
Especially considering the great location, we were happy with the rental fee.
Couldn't be happier!
Phillis, thanks so much! We loved meeting you and your lovely sister and talking some politics! You were both a delight to meet and host and would love to see you again. We will be doing some upgrades over the winter: new custom built shower, carpeting, painting, and some other odds and ends. love ya! D, D & Mck!
Diane arranged to be there when we arrived and gave us a nice little tour of the apt. She and her husband were both friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. We were delighted with the fresh flowers that greeted us. We enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine.
The bed was comfortable and the location was great; a short walk to downtown, Lithia Park and the theaters.
It was nice having a whole private apartment.
It was so nice to meet you and Janet and chat and over all enjoy each others company. It makes us happy that you all were happy and comfy! I think I will move the light from the living room to the bedside table, thanks for the suggestion!
Come again, anytime!
Diane, David and Mckenzie made us feel very welcome! Very delightful and make a mean gin and tonic! (Their own brew! We're wishing them success as it was delicious!)
The location was perfect and Ashland is a wonderful town!! It's a short walk to the OSF and the plays we saw were fabulous! So many great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Bless my husband who'd walk to Mix for another delicious coffee! I could have shopped til I dropped if we weren't driving a Prius with an old English Sheepdog in the back seat! And Savannah was loved by ou R hosts and loved all the love she got from the people in town and to top it off... the great local dog park!
The accommodations were comfortable although the 6' ceilings do take a bit to get used to!! We did know in advance, but until you enter, you are amazed!! By the next day, we were used to our new digs and standing straight! My husband was reading a British book on Film and in heaven! He's a film junkie. :-). Anything you need you will find in the apartment. It is not as bright as the pictures, but the quirky lights from another era brightened the space well! Savannah and Mckenzie got along great and played chase until Mckenzie got sick. We hope she's feeling better!
Overall, it was a great experience! Our trip was the first time we have used Airbnb and this one definitely had the best hosts! We can't wait to visit Ashland again! Diane and David are welcome to visit us any day!!

David & I have lived in Ashland for over 30 years and absolutely love the small town charm, friendly and open people with a strong sense of community, the mountains, live music, art galleries, the college, growing wine industry, and all of the outstanding outdoor opportunities. We love white water rafting, hiking, skiing, kayaking, snow shoeing, bicycling and much more that abound in the Rogue Valley.
We are lovers of nature and hike several times a week in the Ashland watershed. We love good food, wine and spirits. We BBQ almost every day of the year on our fabulous deck, where we spend most of our mornings and nights on during the spring, summer and fall months.
We are the co-founders of Oregon's first and only organic distillery producing award winning Organic Nation Spirits.
We are animal lovers and have a sweet and adorable Tibetan Spaniel~"McKenzie", named after my favorite river in Oregon, outside of Eugene, which was the first river that I attempted to white water canoe.
We absolutely love the airnbnb community! We have met some of the nicest, friendliest, open-minded, thoughtful, adventurous, and respectful people on the planet!
