An excellent alternative to pricey hotels, our fully-furnished North End fourth floor walk-up condo has been refurbished to the highest standards, while maintaining the charm. It has a kitchen with granite countertops, where you can prepare a complete meal. The full-size bathroom with tile tub/shower, and tile floors, has a granite-topped vanity. The floors in the remainder of the unit are refinished oak. Our furniture includes a very comfortable Queen Murphy bed with a new Tempur-Pedic mattress, a full sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, a dining table for two, and a wall mounted 32-inch plasma TV plus DVD player. There is cable tv, wireless internet, and unlimited long distance calls to the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The unit is very clean and well-maintained. Iron, ironing board, alarm clock radio, a child's pack and play, and hair dryer are provided. This condo is perfect for 2 adults and 2 small children.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED AND NO PETS ALLOWED!
The apartment was neat and clean and accurately shown in the photos. Carlos and Cheryl were very easy to work with and gave us great information about the apartment and the neighborhood. The North End area of Boston is very safe and clean. It also has delicious Italian restaurants :). The only drawback to the apartment (and we were aware of this upfront) is the narrow staircase and the climb to the 4th floor. However, I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and family.
What a fantastic place to stay during our week in Boston. Great location, Murphy bed was very comfortable. Lived the neighborhood/ North End... We felt like we lived there, chatted with older neighbors several times. It was nice to have the kitchen if we needed it, we pretty much just did coffee, yogurt & fruit for breakfasts. Would highly recommend ... There are 45 steps up, pretty narrow, not a problem for us but could be for some. We climbed the 294 steps at the Bunker Hill monument, so getting to our place was a piece of pastry!!! ( from Modern Bakery, our preferred pastry shop!!!) thanks Carlos & Cheryl for sharing your place with us...
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. I love chatting with the oldsters who sit in their chairs along the street during the day. So much like Italy! We climbed the Bunker Hill Monument, too! I needed a rest area on that one! Yes, those steps help us burn off Mike's Pastry, Bova and Modern. Hope you get to return soon.
