This property is very nicely kept and it was quite peaceful and quiet when I was there. The kitchen and shower setup are very nice as well. This is one of the best hostel stays I've ever had. I look forward to staying here again the next time I'm in Del Norte!

Very cute place! Warm and has everything you need in a hostel. It was very conveniently located right off the highway which was very nice. The decor feels very homey-cabin which made me feel comfortable. I got to stay in a semi-private cubby area which was good as I am a solo fem…

Probably my favorite place I have ever found to stay on Airbnb. Incredibly warm and cozy and peaceful. Hoping for another excuse to make it up there!

The hospice has a well-appointed kitchen and bath. Towels and fresh linen are included. Very convenient to a diner next door which opens at 8 and serves high-cal breakfasts for a reasonable price. Styling (not a big issue) is amusing and eccentric. Privacy for women traveling alo…

Response from KimAnna & Michael:
Hi Dean, I am so sorry that we didn't wrote you a review! Right after you booked Airbnb sent us an immediate cancellation from you? So we assumed you were not staying of course... We are thrilled that you did stay and that you enjoyed it and we appreciate your very nice review. We appreciate your concern for women in our Hostel and Thank goodness in the 7 years that we have run the Hostel there has never been one problem. We do use discretion when taking bookings and taking reservations. If at anytime something doesn't feel right then we decline the reservation. We also have been known to pop in or have our co-workers stop in if there is even the smallest concern. That all being said THANK YOU for your concern. We surely hope that you will be back one day! Blessings, KimAnna

The Hostile was clean, comfortable and convenient. Enjoyed my time there very much. Was a great perk to be right next to a good food cafe and only a few blocks from the river. I would highly recommend Rider's for an overnight or longer stay for exploring the beautiful San Luis…
