About this listing
Located on a secluded acre and a half gated property, The Guest House is a private building with parking. The room is equipped with a Queen size bed and a pullout couch. A pellet stove provides heat while the unique stone shower has dual heads.
I can't say enough good things about Brian, Colleen, and their amazing guest house. Pictures really can't do this place justice. Their attention to detail in every little part of the Guest House makes you feel like you've been transported to another world entirely. The pellet stove is beautiful at night and heats the room very well, the bathroom is inspired and made of a giant wine cask. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Everything is perfect.
More than that, Brian and Colleen are gracious, courteous, and hilarious hosts. They make you feel more at home than you do at your actual home. The breakfast they provided each morning was great. More importantly, their homemade wines are awesome, we took home two bottles of Syrah.
I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. I'd recommend the Guest House to anyone looking for a quiet and spectacular getaway in NorCal. Novato is also a gem. It's a a beautiful little town that is pretty much right in the middle of Napa, Sonoma, and SF city.
I'm usually terrible and I don't like to write reviews. But in this case, happen to be the birthday of one of my best friends and I decided to plan a girls scape for the weekend and Bed & Breakfast was the best experience for the 4 of us!
This magical place was so cozy and welcoming that immediately we got there we were in totally comfort, relaxed and happy.
Brian and his lovely wife were the perfect host. Wonderful people!! I totally recommend this place to those who want to scape for a lovely, peaceful & romantic weekend. You will experience all the love this house was made because it's reflects in all the window of this fantastic little home!!
The listing actually understates the facility... it was a great, romantic getaway. A huge space at one end of a family winery building, with a pellet stove, stained glass, expansive ceilings, lots of space, comfy furniture and antiques, and a great sunken tub and stone shower area. The bathroom and WC is in a giant carved out former wooden wine tank. The grounds are secluded, breakfast was tasty and the hot tub worked great.
Brian and Colleen are gracious hosts, and Brian was welcoming, understandibly proud of his B&B and winery, and took the time to carefully explain everything about the cottage and grounds. Well worth every penny.
