This was our second Airbnb stay and it was great! Although we had encountered problems (small ones).
As Caterina was away during our stay, we were communicating with her very kind friend. Although her English was not perfect, we understood each other perfectly. The place is out of the city center (20-30 min bus ride) in a safe and quiet neighborhood. There were some confusion getting to the house because we had arrived in the evening and we get lost easily (and we had a lot of luggage). We would have preferred a pick up from the bus stop, even though it is a 5 min walk.
When we got to the house, we saw that the place was a little smaller than the photo but the private kitchen and spacious toilet made us feel very comfortable. Our room was cozy and clean. The kitchen was fully functional and Caterina had provided us with EVERYTHING possible! Fridge, milk, jam, bread, cookies, you name it.
We had arrived on a rainy night so we were feeling a little cold, and compared to the heater in the toilet, the one in the room was not warm. We contacted Caterina and she called a worker and her friend to check it. It turns out that it was normal, but since we were too cold she provided us with an electrical heater and an extra blanket. Thanks to that, we slept like a baby in the warmth.
All in all we had a great stay! Thank you Caterina, and sorry for all the trouble you went through for us.
Little tip, make sure you buy the bus tickets (10 uses) before you start looking for the bus. It saves you time and money. Also take a photo of the bus schedule because if you miss one, you have to wait 20 min for the next one (bus 11).
Very friendly host. Cozy room. :) Comfortable bed.
Good connection by bus to the city centre.
We liked it!
We had a great time staying with Caterina. It was nice to have our own space and kitchen. The host was very helpful and the apartment was very well located near shops and only about 15 min to the centre of bologna by bus that stops one street away from you room!
Caterina has traveled a lot herself and she knows exactly what you need as a traveler.
It's a great place to stay if you want a real AirBnB experience! We would recommend and would go back to stay again too. 10/10 in every way
Caterina was fantastic host for. the room was extremely clean and the apt located safe place. we felt as our house.
and we had a great time in bologna for a week.
thanks to Caterina for renting her apt to us.^^
The little appartment was verry pleasent. Caterina is a nice host who likes her guests. The bus to the centre is in front of the building and the Coop is also verry near. A verry nice place to stay for some days!!
Enjoyed our stay in Caterina's apartment, it really felt like we had our own space and she respected our privacy. As we didn't have a PC of our own she let us use hers which was very kind. We had a train in the afternoon and she graciously let us check out late and we had a lovely conversation.
