Shared (with me!) two bedroom apartment available in the center of Williamsburg! The apartment is close to the Marcy stop on the JMZ (Soho, LES, West Village) and to either Bedford or Lorimer on the L (Union Square, East Village, Chelsea plus transfers uptown to Central Park and Times Square) train.
There is beautiful natural, diffused light through the entire apartment, your rooms have large windows, a full sized bed and a built in closet. The kitchen is small, but the appliances are all new, and there is ample space to eat and prepare in the dining area. The bathroom is gorgeous with a deep tub. The living room is open with mid-century wooden furniture, and a breakfast nook looking onto South Second Street.
The neighborhood contains some of the best restaurants in Williamsburg and cool boutiques, bars, clubs, and grocery shopping. Close by is Caracas restaurant, M Shanghai, Rye, Walter Foods, Diner, Marlow and Sons, Nini's wine store, C-Town and Food Town grocery stores, Nail It salon, Audrey Spa, acupuncture, Brooklyn Bowl, 24 hour shopping. Fun music venues are in walking distance; Williamsburg Music Hall, Glasslands, Chromeo. Plus you can walk to the Williamsburg bridge, Lower East Side, East Village, Soho... everything! I'm so happy to be here and would love to have you stay at my apartment while I'm away.
If you prefer to take coffee outside Daily Press is a block away. I provide linens and towels as well.
Kitchen, living, wifi, speakers, bath, that's it... Breakfast: guest granola is on top of the fridge, coffee and tea are in the cupboard above the fridge as well. Milk is inside, dishware/glassware is above the kitchen sink. I'm pretty happy to share everything else, but please let me know!

Staying at Gingers Ingafära hus in Williamsburg was a very nice experience. Everything was made comfortable for my stay, and Ginger was very attentive to help if something should come up...
Even though Ginger was'nt at home to check me in, she had arranged all that with a friend, and everything went perfectly...
I agree with all of the positive reviews I’ve read about Ginger and her ingefära hus! Williamsburg. There are 13 pages, so I will not be repetitious. Thanks again for allowing us a wonderful holiday at your place.
Ginger was sweet and very easy to reach. She made it very simple for us to access the apartment. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean. There were three of us staying for the weekend, and we had more than enough space. The apartment is in a great location - very close to the subway to Manhattan and very close to lots of great Williamsburg restaurants and shops. As other guests have mentioned, there may have been a few dust bunnies here and there, but nothing too icky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
The apt was perfect for our stay. Warm and quiet. The location was perfect for exploring Williamsburg and you can get to Manhattan in 20 mins. Ginger gave good instructions and left us breakfast and coffee which was great. Would highly recommend!
Our host Ginger was very welcoming. She met our sister when she arrived. The apartment was perfect for our needs and very conveniently located one stop from Manhattan and a short walk to the subway. here were supplies for breakfast and shops nearby. Williamsburg is a fantastic neighbourhood ! Great restaurants, friendly people. Would recommend this apartment!
Ginger was quite helpful and accommodating for both our arrival and departure schedules. The apartment was very much as listed: clean, centrally-located, and quite comfortable for our group of four.
We were especially pleased to be so centrally located in Williamsburg. There are literally dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and small retail shops within a 10-minute walk, and the Marcy St. train station (with multiple lines running to Manhattan) is even closer.
The only limitations to potentially consider:
* Don't plan on cooking complex meals or hosting a sit-down dinner – this is a centrally-located apartment in New York City, after all, not a sprawling suburban home.
* During our stay trains weren't running to the Marcy St. station on the weekend, so we had to take a (free) shuttle bus onto Manhattan or walk a few minutes further to the L (email hidden).
Overall, I strongly recommend this apartment on the basis of location, amenities, and value...not to mention Ginger's prompt and friendly response to all our requests.
My family loved their stay at Ginger's place. She was able to accommodate an early check-in which was much appreciated, and she was friendly and welcoming. She picked up fresh sheets and towels for us and had breakfast items stocked in the kitchen. The apartment might not have had a deep clean in some time, but it was tidy and well-decorated. The location was as convenient as it could get for us as I live about 5 mins away, and the neighborhood has access to so many local shops and restaurants and also subway lines. My family would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks Ginger!
