My 2 teammates and I were incredibly impressed with both this property and host, esp. given that we reached out to her only 24 hrs before we flew into Columbia for the week.
The property was extremely comfortable, spacious, and full of creativity, a lovely combo for a business trip or vacation.
Maria met us upon our arrival to give us a tour, left us wonderful breakfast items in the fridge / on the counters, and was incredibly helpful (in person, via notes, etc) in every way we could imagine.
We'd absolutely stay at her home again in the future for either work or pleasure!
As this trip was for our son's army basic graduation, it was very important that communication was key. Maria delivered! The house was great for what we needed - space, and the location was great. We are huge Starbucks junkies (right around the corner) and the neat little cafes and shops w/in walking distance looked fabulous even though we weren't able to partake in them (we were too busy on Ft Jackson!).
Maria was a terrific host. She had some breakfast foods for is in the fridge which we took full advantage of. The location of the house is terrific. Just a short drive or 10 minute walk from 5 points. The neighbors were also very friendly. Highly recommend staying there!
Maria was an exceptional host and her property was well maintained. The neighborhood was a quite little enclave of historic homes that offered peaceful rest without sacrificing the benefits of being close to the local activities.
Our host welcomed us and showed us around the home, providing helpful instructions. The neighborhood is older and quaint, and the listing is just as described. We had a wonderful stay.
