SMOKING ON THE BALCONY PLEASE!!!
great place to stay with very friendly and helpful host (thanks Lilian) -- she informed us regarding local surroundings along with the sightseeing interests!
Only downside I would mention is that on the second night we had a problem with the padlock on the downstairs shared public door. I tried to jiggle the keys and thereafter the door itself, but I felt as through any more strain on the key would break it in the lock and the door wasn't moving.
Luckily there was someone else around to let us in!
It was a very nice place to stay in. We lived there for a couple of days.
The kitchen is pretty cool. There's everything you need!
Unfortunately the bathroom is very small.
Lilian's flat was very well located in this beautiful city. Lilian and her sister were very comprehensive and helpful when we met a problem during our trip.
We certainly recommand this address!
The apartment was very clean and well situated just 2 min from the tram station. Lilian was not there but her friend Renee was very welcoming ! As a couple we have enjoyed our stayed in Amsterdam ! I recommend this apartment !
The apartment is spacious, on the first floor of a historical building in the University quarter of Amsterdam. The quarter reminded me of Kreuzberg in Berlin, with its old houses, avenues with lines of trees on each side, and streets, where cars were not supposed to drive through. The situation very close to the tram station, and very close to all visitors' highlights in Central Amsterdam is perfect. The apartment is friendly, and at the same time also a bit austere, with very dim lighting in the living/bedroom, and almost no pictures on the walls. I was there much too short to really take advantage of living in this place, only one night: I did not cook, I was not able to do any shopping due to coming in very late, so no breakfast, etc. Next time I will definitely stay longer!
