Welcome to the DalStudio - Your 5-Star Cleanliness Haven!

At the DalStudio, I, the host, personally take care of everything to ensure your stay is exceptional. I'm proud to maintain a flawless 5-star rating for cleanliness. My commitment to Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Protocol ensures that the studio undergoes an extensive cleaning and disinfection process for a minimum of 1 day between guest bookings. Rest assured, it's all done by me, guaranteeing a sparkling clean environment for your stay.

I kindly ask guests to respect the house rules detailed in the listing’s guidelines, which include a no-shoes and no-smoking policy. Please note that the space may not be suitable for inexperienced guests who aren't accustomed to housekeeping etiquette.

The DalStudio has been lovingly renovated twice since 2018, with the most recent update in July 2020, all carried out by me. In the unlikely event of any issues during your stay, I provide immediate responses and solutions within hours.

To enhance your comfort, I've added sound and thermal insulation to address previous noise concerns. Plus, a brand-new TCL Elite Elegant 12.000 BTU air conditioning unit with active carbon filtering offers both comfort and safety, maintaining a pleasant temperature during your stay.

The studio's minimalist architecture seamlessly blends old charm with modern design, creating an oasis of tranquility in shades of white and grey. The lighting is thoughtfully designed, with both functional and relaxing options.

Entertainment is at your fingertips with our 43-inch LG Smart TV, featuring access to YouTube, Netflix, Apple TV (accounts required), and more. A HDMI cable is also available for laptop connections. Enjoy exclusive high-speed VDSL internet with true speeds of +60MBps download and +4MBps upload throughout your stay.

Last, the DalStudio was until recently ranked in the top 5% of Airbnb listings due to consistently excellent 5-Star reviews. Occasionally, ratings may fluctuate due to individual experiences that don’t fully reflect the high standards upheld. Despite a minor change in the overall score, guests can still expect the same top-tier comfort and hospitality that the DalStudio is known for

Thank you for considering the DalStudio for your stay at Corfu island, where comfort, cleanliness, and convenience come together for an unforgettable experience.

Neighborhood highlights

The DalStudio is located in Mon-Repos Corfu, 26 minutes walking from Corfu's Old town and just 2 minutes from the entrance of Paleopolis (old City of Corfu), an archaeological site surrounded by ancient walls where ruins of the ancient Kerkyra still can be seen. The entrance is free and one can walk, run or cycle along a beautiful path under the shadow of large trees. The scenery is wonderful and peaceful, one can hear the sound of the sea under a sky full of birds. Many local people visit Mon-Repos to relax reading a book. Along the trip many buildings can be seen like St. Eufemia monastery, the old open theater that is still used today, the Congress Centre, the Tito Palace, a Byzantine church, an ancient Roman house and Mon Repos Palace.

The Mon Repos Palace was built in 1830 for the English Minister Adams and it belonged for long time to the Greek Royal Family. The Duke of Edinburgh and husband to the Queen of England Elisabeth II was born in Mon-Repos and the Royal family had sole possession of Mon-Repos until 1967. Today it hosts the museum of Paleopolis which displays the ruins of Era’s temple, the Venetian fountain plus what remained of the Doric Kardaki temple. This temple was built in honor of the God Apollo at the end of VI century b.C. using local limestone coming from the quarry of Varipatadon.

Along the road, one can see other ancient ruins such as the Christian basilica of Kerkyra, some pavement sections of the ancient agorà (market), the Roman bathes and the boatyards of the port of Alkinoos.

In addition, at the end of Paleopolis down hill towards the sea, people can reach the Doric temple of Kardaki or else known the King's Royal baths and enjoy swimming and sun worship.

Additionally, approximately 28 minutes by walk, 15 minutes by the blue bus Corfu's public transportation (pick up from the Mon-Repos entry) or 9 minutes via a vehicle one can visit the iconic place of the small monastery of Vlaherena and the small island of Pontikonisi which is placed in the middle of the sea and it is connected to a small port just next to the monastery. From there you can get a taxi boat to visit the island and visit the XII Century church of Pantokratora.

Additionally you can cross the Halkiopoulos lagoon be walk or cycle via the small bridge connecting the two locations of Kanoni and Perama. The small bridge is a spectacular place to watch and experience the tremendous blast of the airplanes on final approach for landing before touch down, flying just few meters above the bridge. In the same area of Vlacherena, there is a nice snack - coffee place next to the sea, and just behind that space there is a sandy beach one can enjoy swimming and relax during sun-worship.

Approximately 9 minutes from the DalStudio there are another 2 famous places, the Mon-Repos Royal baths (continuation from Doric Kardaki) and Anemomylos, places for swimming and sun-worship. In addition one can find many Greek Taverns and enjoy great food, enjoy a coffee or a drink later in the evening at the same area.

Close to the DalStudio there are 2 markets guests can shop for their stay, the closest is a mini market and it is approximately 4 minutes by walk walk. A (mini) super market is approximately 10 minutes by walk. The bigger super markets are approximately 3 kms from Corfu center with the exeption of the lidl branch which is approximately 20 minutes by walk walk from the studio, located in wider area of the airport.

Despite the fact that Corfu and the wider area of Mon-Repos buildings are based on the same old Corfiot architecture which has been mostly obtained from the rule of the Venetian nobility (1386 - 1797), few buildings were build while Greece was under the military dictatorship of the General Papadopoulos. Unfortunately those building design has nothing in common with the traditional architecture. The building of the DalStudio plus the building next were build during 1970's and because of that of the political conditions of the time, the buildings were build with no architecture. Yet steps are taking place to fix the design and get in sync with the Corfu's architecture.
