Family-friendly apartment in charming Frederiksberg, Copenhagen
We offer a 109m2 apartment, for a family of 4, with lots of atmosphere in lovely Frederiksberg – the green “heart" of Copenhagen – located on a quiet street close to the city pulse.
Nice old Frederiksberg apartment with ornamented high ceiling – located on the 4th floor with a small balcony with view over the lovely green street. The nearby surroundings offer a quiet and peaceful area while the city pulse is just around the corner.
The 100 m2 apartment is bright and decorated in an original style which shows a love for art and design. It has to large living areas – one for dining and a living room for relaxation with TV, DVD and WiFi. A large bedroom with a big comfortable master bed. A children’s room with a children bed (age 0-4). A bathroom with bathtub, toilet and a changing table. The washing machine is located in the basement.
It is possible to put in an extra double mattresses as well as a crib – hence the apartment can be suitable for 4 adults and 2 small children.
We would like to share our favourite spots in Copenhagen so you will have a nice and unusual-suspect-vacation. Therefore we have prepared a list with practical information about the city and our favourite areas together with our selection of the best places to go for lunch, dinner, a drink, shopping or walking and a selection of the best museum- and exhibition places.
You will find everything you need in the flat: sheets, duvets and pillows with linen, towels, hairdryer and all kitchen utensils. And part of the wardrobe is empty for you to keep your clothes.
There is also access to the courtyard with a playground for the kids.
Frederiksberg is the green heart of Copenhagen – and is characterized by it’s charming streets, old town houses and high ceiling apartments – The Frederiksberg Allé (Avenue) being the “aorta” of the area.
The apartment is located on Schlegels Allé – a small and quiet street – between the two “big” streets Frederiksberg Allé and Vesterbrogade.
Frederiksberg is surrounded by the lovely versatile Copenhagen areas called Nørrebro (known for its multicultural) and the city center (known for historic buildings, museums, the harbour and shopping).
In the area Vesterbro, located right next to the apartment, you will find the trendy and edgy part of Copenhagen with lots of pulse, cultural life, design shops, cool cafés, bars and restaurants and great playgrounds.
Supermarkets, kiosks with fresh fruit and bread and bakery is just around the corner. Pharmacy, variety of supermarket, kiosk with international press and post office in the nearby area.
In the other direction of the apartment – moving north and further into Frederiksberg – you will find lovely green parks – Frederiksberg Have (Garden) being the city’s largest with a pond for rowing, a summer café and playground. Every Saturday 9-15 o’clock (april-october) there is a flea marked on the parking lot behind Frederiksberg City Hall. In front of the City Hall there is a organic food stand every Saturday from 10-17 o’clock.
Copenhagen is the bicycle capital of Europe and therefore the bicycle is the primary transportation form. Hence bike rental and city bikes for hire is easily accessible throughout the City. – It’s also possible renting the popular cargo/family bikes.
Baisikeli – located on Ingerslevgade 80, Vesterbro (2,7 km from the apartment)
Copenhagen Bicycles – located on Nyhavn 44, Copenhagen City (5,2 km from the apartment)
The City Bike (Bycyklen) – hour-to-hour bike rental – bike stations several places. The nearest two ”docks” are located at the entrance to the Frederiksberg Garden (5 min walk) and at the Frederiksberg City Hall (10 min walk)
Copenhagen has a small but efficient Metro system.
Copenhagen has a very efficient bus system – although there is a lot of redirections in the bus schedule due to the metro building system. – The local busses from and to the apartment are: 6A, 18 and 26
There are also tourist busses giving city tours through the center – located by Rådhuspladsen (The City Hall)

“Nettobådene” - city boats joining the separated areas of Copenhagen – leaves from
