PRIVATE APARTMENT is just in the most awesome area!!
I don't think there are any hotels near here.
It's right between OMOTESANDO and HARAJUKU.
FREE mobile Wi-Fi pocket-size router included.
It is in the apartment waiting for you.
This place makes me so energetic. Great Cafe around the corner named NALU with awesome food. Famous tonkatsu (fried pork) restaurant ( MAISEN )nearby as well .
New shopping building opened in 2012 is about 7 minutes away, the TOKYU PLAZA. Nice open area on the 6th floor to get Starbucks coffee and enjoy the view and weather.
This is my favorite upscale, chill, place in Tokyo!! It's in a residential district but only 5 minutes walk to Omotesando station and most of the walk is lined by restaurants and shops.
You can get to Harajuku station in 8 minutes, much longer if the street is crowded like most afternoons. This is where you can see all the awesomely dressed people in Harajuku. You can start shopping basically when you walk out the door. Not to mention the numerous salons around this area. I think there are like 5,000 plus, so go get yourself a haircut!!
Exit this apartment and turn right and this same road turns into the famous shopping street of Harajuku. It's only 5 minutes away from the eccentric area of Harajuku and all the cool shops you could imagine! Walk a few minutes farther and you will be in Yoyogi Park. A great place to see the cherry blossoms in the early spring and not to mention the famous MEIJI JINGU Shrine.

Check-out is at 12PM NOON.
Early check-in / Late check-out may be available. However, please DON'T ask until 1-2 days before your check-in/out as I won't be able to answer you until then. CHEERS AND HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!
1. The apartment will be all yours so please take good care of it.
2. Please be quiet and discreet. Very important to respect your neighbors in Japan as everyone lives close together! Absolutely no partying in the unit. Please enjoy yourself outside and make new friends.
3. You must turn off the air conditioner/heater when not there.
4. Please take off your shoes when you enter.
5. NO SMOKING inside the apartment. Outside on the balcony is fine. Standing and smoking in front of the building entrance is not allowed. Please dispose of your buds properly. Do not put in recyclable cans or bottles.
6. SELF CHECK-IN: For your convenience and privacy this is a self-catering unit. It is your responsibility to find the place. Don't worry because I give very detailed and accurate directions in the confirmation.
7. This is NOT a HOTEL: As such, you cannot ask anyone in the building for assistance. My team and I are always available between the hours of 7 AM and 1 AM via Airbnb messaging. Phone calls are typically unanswered due to the Japanese culture of answering phones in public.
8. BEDS: By booking, you acknowledge the total number of beds and bed sizes. Please read carefully to make sure your party will be comfortable with the available accommodations.
9. DEPOSIT: We don't take a deposit, but you will be held liable for any damages. Please report any damages as soon as they occur. Honesty is the best policy and will be rewarded.
10. CLEANING: The place is professionally cleaned before your arrival. Our standards are very high, but if you have any concerns contact us upon arrival.
11. YOU MUST separate the trash*** #1 VITAL thing in Japanese culture!!
Trash is divided into categories and put in different bags.
Please separate your:
burnable, recyclables (cans, plastic bottles, glass), and non-burnable items.
Please put these in separate bags. Using any clear plastic bag is okay in Tokyo.
Clean and comfortable, good shops and cafe around it. Could start shopping the minute getting out of the house. 711 is near! Great stay, will try to stay again next time.
Yes, great neighborhood, clean space, excellent and detailed directions to find the pace (considering there are minimal indicators of street names, numbers, etc in Tokyo we were very impressed on this end). Low-key and comfortable. Loved it.
The place in nice and very comfortable..we can see the whole neighborhood from our (website hidden) was so peaceful and we love to wake up in the morning and feel the breeze and the sunshine from our window.
Will's communication was timely and the instructions for everything were accurate. The apartment is extremely well located and very quiet at night. The chaos of Harajuku Street is a 10min walk away, and we were well placed for mens clothing and the more high end Omotesando. We found some reasonably good food only 3mins walk west, and excellent coffee about 300m south (Omotesando Koffee).
Overall a great place to stay and would definitely stay again! Thanks Will.
- suggestion would be great if you include Apple Store as main reference when existing the Omotesando tube station (exist 2)
- the building does not have any reference to its name as mentioned on the provided directions, would be great if a picture from the outside of the building is included
The apartment conservation state does not look at all like the pictures, the curtains are not fixed properlly and one of the windows does not have a blackout so an eye mask can be handy, and generally does required refurbishment.
Bath room and shower were ok though the trick using same tap for the sink and bathtub is not so easy to get.
The fridge is really noisy and makes it difficult to sleep even with earplugs.
The main bed was ok but the sofa when opened has literally a hole in the middle which makes it really uncomfortable to sleep.
The 3rd bed as agreed, was not a bed but a duvet to be placed on the floor, so 4 days sleeping on the floor not cool at all.
The wifi instructions on AIRBNB are incorrect since the house manual has them updated with different SSID and password.
As final note this apartment has indeed a great location and can work for 2 persons max 3 if the 3 person is willing to sleep on the uncomfortable sofa.
Great location. Fairly clean room. Informative host with quick response to any of our questions. Thumbs up!

About the Host, Will
Nice to meet you. My name is Will. I love hosting on airbnb and it is my life. It is tons of fun and there are new surprises every day! I have met so many interesting people as a host and I look forward to those I will meet in the future.
I am a sports fan, reader, movie goer, and I like to try new things. I play golf, basketball, and just about any sport you can think of. I love ramen, yakiniku, yakitori, and shabu shabu here in Japan. I love to try pizza all over the world when I travel.
Relationships are the most important thing for me in my personal life as well as business. I like to go out and have a good time with my friends and meet new people.
I have learned so much from my over three years as an airbnb host and I am pleased to say I have most questions answered for you before you ask them, whether it be in the description of the listing or in the detail I supply you with at confirmation. Still, I am always thinking of ways to make the guest experience more comfortable, efficient, and hassle free. This is my goal as a host. I will continue to get more places every month so I can host more travelers. I want everyone to see Tokyo at least once!
Tokyo is a great place to come and people from all over the world visit here making it a truly international city. I love Tokyo and seeing the amazing sights and people. It is a great place to explore and every day can be different. This is an awesome destination for walkers and wanders filled with friendly people, tasty restaurants, and plenty of lights. My tip is to make the initial contact with Japanese people because they are typically shy at first. They will be happy to try to practice their English with you.
Hope I can host you soon! May your trip to Tokyo be as amazing as my 7 years here has been!
