Very comfortable house located in the heart of Venice between Rialto (2 min.) and San Marco (5 min.), Equipped with all comforts (internet, washing machine, waterbus for all directions). The house has a private terrace which looks out over the Venetian rooftops ... great for breakfast and dinners! The area enjoys a strategic location and boasts the existence of many "Venetian bar", where you can sip a drink and tasting the famous "snack at the Venetian style called "cicchetti".

A recommander!
Andrea was such a great host! he met us at the water bus station so we were able to get to the apartment easily. He was very good with communication. the apartment is in a GREAT location!! Andrea was kind enough to offer to take us around Venice and show us some sights one afternoon. Always had breakfast and coffee for us when we woke up, would definitely recommend staying with Andrea!!!
Andrea's apartment is in a great central part of town - being a newcomer to Venice I had a tough time finding it - but we eventually got it and it was so much fun walking through the city. Andrea met us exactly as planned after getting off the water bus, and was very very kind and welcoming for us. He had a map ready to go with lots of recommendations on where we should go in the city. My friend was sick the 2nd day and spent the whole day in bed - Andrea was very kind and hospitable and offered tea and whatever else he could help out with. The building is pretty old and on the top floor so it's best if you only have backpack and not big suitcases.. THANK YOU Andrea for everything!!
Andrea was a great host--the communication was easy, he met me as planned, and the apartment was clean, quiet and very conveniently located. Also, Andrea is kind, thoughtful person who made me feel welcome. And the cost/benefit ratio is excellent indeed! Thanks, Andrea!
Although Andrea had to be out of town last minute and we didn't get a chance to meet him, I know we would have gotten along superbly as his apartment was full of character, fun and comfort. After a few snafus trying to get to the apartment and the washer to work (push realllllly hard! :), our time at Andrea's was amazing. Location was as central as we could hope for and many local restaurants and a grocery nearby. Highly recommended and I hope to meet him on my next trip!
We enjoyed our stay at Andrea's. Unfortunately, he was out of town when we came, but his friend met us and it was very easy to find the apartment. You're maybe a minute or two from some busy and loud parts of Venice, but it's quiet once you get off the main drag. Overall, a great location if you're planning on visiting Venice.
Great host! Great tips! Great Location! Highly recommended!
Everything about this AirBnB was ideal. The apartment is centrally located but on a quiet street, and the room is cozy and warm. Andrea was a wonderful host. He met us in person when we arrived, lent us maps and guidebooks, and gave us tips for restaurants to visit and museums to see. He is an excellent cook and prepared a delicious breakfast cake for us. We even visited him at the bar where he works and had a great time! We hope to see Andrea again soon.
Andrea is really a very nice friendly, sympathetic and enthousiastic man, in the 2 times 5 minutes we met. The area is nice, close to everything, easy to do by foot. We were almost always out in Venice for 5 days Biennale.
About the room; The kitchen is cosy but the room needs to be renovated urgently, maybe okay for young students, we paid 73 pn, I see now it is 45 Euro, but I think that should be the max price. Resuming:; for us, older romantic couple the room was very basic and very small, the bedcover was so thick and heavy and sheets synthetic, that it was just too hot to sleep, specially when also the central heating went on automatically the first night. And we forgot that there are many mosquitos in Venice, maybe a tip for Andrea to put repellent in the room or big clamboo or so. Or bring it yourself. Enjoy Venice! And Andrea good luck with everything!!
best wishews from us.
