LOVELY IPANEMA APT NEAR THE BEACH

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia, llegamos a un apartamento acogedor, con decoracion hermosa, tal cual lo mostraban sus fotos, muy comodo, contaba con todo lo necesario para pasar una agradable estadia. Ademas nos dejaron sabanas, toallas, jabones, agua mineral gelada! tal como si fuera un hotel. Sus dueños, calidos, preocupados, dejan un mapa, indicaciones, consejos, todo muy acogedor. El edificio muy bien ubicado, a pasos de playa Ipanema, frente a supermercado, nosotros que fuimos con bebe fue lo mas ideal para elegir. El edificio es seguro, hay siempre vigilancia. Fue una excelente estadia, anfitriones y apartamento totalmente recomendable.

This was our first experience of using airbnb and slightly anxious that it could be problematic arriving at a private apartment late at night from our flight from London. We shouldn't have worried! The doorman was looking out for our arrival, and called Daniel to meet us. Daniel showed us the apartment and how everything worked, and also arranged our return taxi in advance. Everything we needed was there, and having wifi was really useful. We appreciated having two bathrooms and having towels provided, and all basic consumables e.g. for washing dishes and clothes. The aircon was essential (it was almost 40 degrees outside). There was some noise from the street and from neighbours' aircons at night but that's difficult to avoid in a city. We felt very safe there, and the doormen were friendly and courteous.

The location is superb: Ipanema beach is very close, and there was a big choice of restaurants, cafes and the 24 hour supermarket all on the doorstep (some with special recommendations from Silvia and Daniel). One day we got up at 6.15 and were on Copacabana beach watching the sun rise at 6.30. We were able to get almost everywhere around Rio using Metro or buses starting from the square in front of the apartment. We'd love to visit again and would certainly recommend the apartment to friends.

The apartment is very nice and charming. It's located in the best and safest neighborhood in Rio, which is a very important thing. Close to the best beach and bars. Silvia is a wonderful host and very responsable. The communication was very fluency and quickly. I would definitely come back :-)

Silvia and Daniel's place is excellent location. Extremely clean, practical, great showers, a/c, tv, and doorman service. We were well greated and attended right away when we needed something. Even the towels were super clean and smelled great, haha! Great location if you want to be steps away from Ipanema Beach. Everything you want to have for your beach trip to Rio is here.

Silvia's place is great! Awesome location, just steps away from the beach, grocery store and restaurants. She and Daniel are great hosts, they even graciously accommodated my friend who had different arrival/departure times. The apartment is clean, bright and exactly how described. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Rio.

We had a wonderful time in Ipanema, Silvia was the most gracious host. Always ready to assist, they were very helpful with our arrangements and made the experience a great one.
The location of the flat is fantastic, literally, one block from the beach, and very near a 24 hours supermarket and good restaurants.

on a quiet street of arpoador, the best location in town, you will find anything you need in this place: 24h-doormen, fast internet, cable tv, a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and even a washing machine. the hosts are very nice and helpful. conclusion: absolutely recommended!

This is what you call a perfect combination. Great hosts and a fantastic apartment. Daniel and Silvia are the most welcoming hosts I've ever seen. Even with our key issue (Ipanema waves were slightly higher than expected) things (new key) got arranged within half an hour. Absolutely great and all with a big smile. Then the apartment. 2 blocks from Ipa and 5 from Copacabana. Lots of bars around, a very decent supermarket, a metrostation and a plethora of bus lines. Couldn't be better. Two bathrooms with great showers are available, which I think is a big plus with the beach around the corner. I highly recommend the hosts, the apartment and the location!

Silvia and Daniel were great Hosts!. They answered all of our questions upon arrival and gave us excellent tips on Rio. The apartment has an amazing location two blocks from Ipanema beach and a few blocks from Copacabana beach! Within walking distance you have supermarkets, juice bars, transportation and restaurants. Just across the street is a local favorite restaurant "casa de la fejioida". The internet worked well to communicate via (website hidden) back home. I would really recommend this apartment, its perfect to discover Rio

I really enjoyed staying at Silvia's flat. She was so easy to communicate with and was really understanding when we changed our check-in time (twice!) to take advantage of a beach we discovered on our drive to Rio. My favorite thing about the flat (besides the amazing hosts) was its location - two blocks from Ipanema Beach, maybe 5 blocks to Copacabana, and RIGHT me to the famous Hippie Market on Sundays. The second bedroom is small but it was perfect for us as it gave us a break from 3 people sleeping in the same hotel room. It was also a big bonus that that there were two full bathrooms so everyone could shower and get ready at the same time. We looked at some fancier AirBnbs in Rio (that cost at least 2x the price) price of Silvia's flat, but we chose this one because it had everything we needed and was good value at the price - we weren't disappointed! And I really can't say enough nice things about Silvia and her husband Daniel. They were the best AirBnb hosts I've met yet.

Silvia & Daniel are great host, they are lovely couple. The place was very nice it's a block to Ipanema Beach across Zona Sul supermarket and metro was a block away. The place was spacious and full kitchen with washer and gas range. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Silvia & Daniel. Hope to see you again.

Amazing location and beautiful apartment. You cannot find a more convenient place and great location for that price in Rio. In addition Silvia and Daniel are very quick to help and answer if you have any question or need anything. The people in the building are all friendly and create a great environment. It was perfect for a family of 4, we had a great time and I hope to be back in Rio soon!

Estuvimos en Ipanema, hospedados en Charming Ipanema Beach, y lo pasamos bárbaro. Conocimos a Daniel quien resultó ser una persona muy amable, nos explicó todo muy bien para que no tuviéramos problemas en nuestra estadía.
El dpto. tal cual lo vimos por internet, muy bueno.
La seguridad del edificio y sus porteros excelentes.
La ubicación inmejorable, el supemercado enfrente, los bares, heladería, plaza, centro comercial en los alrededores, la playa a una cuadra.
La verdad que excelente!!!

I seriously can't say enough great things about Silvia and her apartment! She was always available with a quick response and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Her kindness will not be forgotten! The apartment is amazing, great location! Ipanema is the place to be and this apartment is in the heart of it, in walking distance to the beach and many great bars and restaurants. The sunsets from the beach there are breathtaking. Our nightly ritual was to walk down to enjoy them! We found the proximity to the metro station to be super helpful for sight seeing. Thanks again Silvia!

My family and I spent our Christmas and new year in Rio. We were very fortunate to have rented an apartment from a great host. The warmed welcome and help that our host provided made us feel at home. Did I mention that the location of the apartment was perfect with 24 hrs security.
We will rent again on our next visit to Rio.

We had a perfect stay in Silvia's apartment. Silvia is very nice and the apartment is extremely well located (walking distance to the beach but also a very good connection to downtown Rio via public transportation). The housing complex has 24 h security and very nice doormen. We would always use Silvia's apartment again!

Me hospedei com crianças neste apartamento, a estadia foi ótima. O apartamento é bem completo, bem localizado e seguro. Tudo funcionou direitinho. Fica localizado em uma área com muitas opções de refeição, metrô, taxi e ônibus. E para dormir é silencioso. A anfitriã foi muito (website hidden) certeza, para nós, foi uma estadia melhor que em hotel.

Your search is over if you are looking for the ideal place to stay in Rio. This apartment has it all. Location, comfort, cleanliness, and the best hosts. We only had a few days in Ipanema Beach and we were so thrilled to have found this spot. Across the street from the Sunday Hippie Fair where artisans sell their beautiful wares; two short blocks to the beach; across the street from the supermarket where you can find all you need; on the street of great restaurants, across from the park, 24 hour doorman, friendly, warm people everywhere. Buses to go everywhere, cabs available easily. Daniel and Silvia are the perfect hosts- gave us everything we needed with extra touches- like towels for the beach and cold bottles of water in the refrigerator.
I cannot say enough good things about this stay, about these hosts, about this apartment. We simply had the very best time in the magical city of Rio de Janeiro and we are forever grateful to Airbnb for this connection.

Tivemos uma excelente estadia no apartamento da Sílvia. A começar por ela, que nos recebeu muito bem, nos deixou à vontade e ofereceu todo apoio que precisávamos. Já o apartamento é exatamente como anunciado, está muito bem conservado, tem todas as comodidades que dois casais podem precisar. A localização é privilegiada, a uma caminhada da praia e de frente para a praça General Osório, com opções de transporte público (metrô de superfície e ônibus), supermercado, farmácia e muitas opções de restaurante. Não tivemos nenhum problema com os funcionários nem vizinhos do condomínio. Valeu muito, recomendamos.

Silvia is a really good person, she is not only a host she became a real friend.
The appartment is only one block from ipanema beach, is very clean and you can be sure that Silvia will provide you everything you need. I suggest Silvia's appartment if you want spend good times in rio in a well located appartment. I really think I couldn't find a better place to stay.

Silvia's apartments are first class! Upgraded, bright, clean and attention to detail. She is a wonderful person and cares about her guests and her apartments. I am a university professor from California, her apartments are popular with students from California in my international program. Silvia is honest, friendly and will work hard to make your stay in Rio a wonderful one!
