The space
~Cleaning and Sanitizing~ We clean our cottage ourselves and take pride on our 5 star rating... and have committed to Airbnb Enhanced Cleaning Protocol. Your safety & ours, is our top priority.
**NO PETS/SERVICE OR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS. PLEASE NOTE: Due to SEVERE ALLERGIES that cause severe breathing issues due to a compromised health issue, as we clean our home ourselves~ unfortunately we can not accept a reservation with any Service or Emotional Animal. Please respect this as it could be life threatening. Please, DO NOT sneak any animal into our home.
~The neighborhood~a quaint mountain community, with plenty of space between homes, so you are sure to get privacy to relax. NOTE: We are not secluded~you do see other homes~
Original lodge cottage built in the late 1930's, completely updated
while keeping its original charm, is cozy and spacious.
~Upper garden includes large gazebo with bistro lights~
perfect for sunset dining or morning coffee.
~Master bedroom has Queen bed with comfortable Zinus mattress;
en-suite bathroom with shower. Enjoy waking up to the beautiful pines
and view of Mount Evans. Extra blankets & pillows provided. ~Kitchen is stocked for preparing meals, coffee bar with fresh coffee,
French Press, drip coffee pot, tea kettle & electric kettle, coffee grinder, microwave, electric oven & gas range.
~Bright breakfast nook.
~There are 2 bathrooms with showers (no tubs).
~Washer and Dryer for your use if needed; iron, board and steamer.
~High Speed Internet; 2 Smart TV's.Netflix included~~no cable~~
You may log into your own accounts for other channels. ~Bluetooth speaker. We have two charging stations with USB outlets.
~We DO NOT have air conditioning~we rely on the cool mountain nights to cool the cottage. Oscillating fan provided.
~We have central heat and a gas wood stove in the bedroom.

Location is close to Evergreen Lake, Elk Meadow, Bergen Peak,Three Sisters Park, Maxwell Falls, Lair of the Bear, Staunton State Park, Flying J Ranch, Red Rocks Park. ~Mt. Evans, Boulder, Colorado Springs make great day trips.
The outdoor area is a natural landscape with gardens and paths with uneven terrain.
Motion & solar lights in driveway and front entry and back gardens.
**Note: For your security and ours, we do have a security camera outside the front entry door that faces our driveway. This is the only camera on the property.
Winter: Driveway is short and flat; you can access with front wheel, preferably 4-wheel. Home is on a county maintained road, but road is a bit of an incline.
**NOTE: Sorry, we do not allow bridal party getting-ready gatherings.
**The reservation is for only the 2 registered guests listed at all times.If you wish to have an extra guest(s) visit during your stay, check with me prior to see if this is an option. No overnight guests.

~We are located in an older established quiet neighborhood ~with plenty of space between homes, so you are sure to get privacy to relax.
(Note:The cottage is located in a neighborhood with other homes with residents. You will not be completely secluded. You do see other homes.They are respectful of our guests & we ask that our guests
are respectful of them.)
~Within minutes from several wedding and event venues~The Red Barn, Evergreen Memorial Park, Evergreen Lakehouse, The Bistro.
Evergreen Lake, downtown brew pubs, winery, boutiques and eateries,
lots of hiking trails, easy access to major highways to Denver and to
the mountain resorts.
~40 Minutes to downtown Denver.
~45 to 60 minutes to most ski areas.
~14 miles from Red Rocks.

This is the perfect size home for a solo retreat; couple getaway; visiting friends, relatives, hiking, skiing.

During your stay

We are available if needed, but otherwise tend to allow our guests to their privacy. Available by text or phone and we are usually only 10 minutes away from the cottage should you need anything or have questions. During the summer we may be at the cottage to maintain the flower gardens.
