The Gulch sits on the South Fork of the John Day River. An 1880s chuck wagon greets you as you pull into the driveway. As you wind down into the Gulch you will see why the John Day River territory is such a beautiful place.

The space
This space is an open floor bunkhouse layout, with two private baths. 3 Queen beds and a queen air mattress are on the lower level, and a semi-private loft area has a king size bed. Perfect for a family. Also great for hunters, as the bunkhouse is close to several hunting units.

Guest access
Guests have full access.

Other things to note
Hiking in the Painted Hills. Exploring the South Fork River near the Bunkhouse. The Dayville Cafe and the best homemade pie around await you along with a great coffee stop called Twisted Treasures!! We will even leave a coupon so you can stop at both!!

Im a wife first, momma of four kids and a farm girl. I love Jesus and I am grateful for all the people that surround me. My favorite movies are Lonesome Dove, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Gone With The Wind and of course The Sound of Music. We raise grass fed beef and a bunch of chickens roam our hazelnut orchard.
