  • It's hard to describe how wonderful Ka awa Loa Plantation Guesthouse is!!! From the moment we drove up and saw the jaw dropping view from the huge wrap-around verandah, we were enchanted! This is a special place indeed. Our hosts made every moment memorable from lovely breakfasts to arranging a couple's massage. The interior is a delightful blend of unique furnishings sprinkled with Hawaii decor. We loved the lively interactions with other guests....when we weren't too busy relaxing! Hah! :-)) P.S. Our bathroom was across the hall from the bedroom. The shower was offered to other guests for optional use. We had no problem with this arrangement as there are also "outdoor" lava showers that most people chose to enjoy.

  • Our stay at Ka awa Loa Plantation Guesthouse was really lovely. The house is big and the has a magnificent deck around the front. The views of the coast far below are more beautiful than the pictures convey. Michael and Greg were very friendly and welcoming and, despite technically being full, helped us by letting us stay in a spare room they have. The outdoor showers are also great. I highly recommend staying here.

  • The Plantation Guesthouse is an amazing place to stay. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing day just hanging around the house. I had a wonderful massage that was booked through the host. The breakfast was super yummy. The view is unbelievable and the house is close to town and activities.
