Interaction with Guests
On arrival I receive all my guests and show them the apartment and how everything works and answer any questions as well as providing usefull information on the cosmopolitan Santa Catalina area. From that point onwards I'm simply available for any problems or questions that may arise. I live very nearby so can resolve any problems inmediately.
Located in Santa Catalina, the most lively, trendy and cosmopolitan area of Palma and right next to all the other cultural and commercial areas. Santa Catalina has its own covered market which sells fresh fish, fruits and vegetables. In addition it is the hub of interesting shops, bars and a large selection of restaurants and bakeries. Browsing around the streets is a joy! My loft is walking distance to all other interesting things to view in Palma, the cathedral is a ten minute walk as is the sea. The nearest beach is also only just over a ten minute walk away.
From the airport you can take a taxi, approx 20€ or the bus, which leaves you 5 min walking from the apartment. You can also rent a car directly if you plan to.
Once here, you can walk as most interesting places are walking distance or take the bus if you need to get further.
There is a bus stop down the road. Take direction Plaza España if you want to go around the island. There you will find buses, the tube and the train to Soller, which is a nice excursion.

The apartment was exactly as pictured and descripted, it is very spacious and air conditioned in the bedrooms, the terrace is a little sun trap. The host was not available to meet due to holiday commitments but arranged a friend to meet us and texted to ensure everything was good and recommended some excellent local restaurants.
The neighbourhood is lovely and we found ourselves spending more time in the restaurants, bars etc.. in the surrounding area than the centre. The centre is a nice walk approx. 10 mins away and a lovely local market is just around the corner.
Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
This apartment in Palma was such a pleasure to stay in. The location is very central and the apartment itself is beautiful. The pictures themselves don't do it justice. We never met Julie ourselves but she was very accessible through e-mail for all our questions and she had a friend welcome us. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Palma.
Appartement conforme à l'annonce. Chambres assez bruyantes et pas d'obscurité possible dans celle du haut. Le quartier est très sympa et début juillet il était très facile de trouver des places de stationnement gratuites à proximité nous n'avons pas rencontré Julie.
Fantastic apartment. We loved being in the middle of the local area and it was only a short walk into the middle of town. The air con was a dream! Bit of street noise in the mornings but not too bad. Julie recommended some places to eat and we tried two of them, Quina Creu and Patron Lunares, both of them were amazing. Well almost definitely be back to stay!
Julie's place in Santa Catalina was amazing. Looked just like the pictures, was well located for food, groceries, the beach, and central Palma, and felt less touristy than many other neighborhoods. The apartment is located on a busy road and can be a bit loud. Bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to that, otherwise a great place to stay!
We had a lovely stay in Julie’s apartment, the location is great, the apartment has everything one could need and is neat as a pin. Julie was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
We had a really late arrival and Julie went out of her way to organise convenient key pick so we had easy access at a very unreasonable hour. Great place to stay and really adds to your Palma experience.

I love Mallorca most of all because you feel you are always near the sea, and Palma is such a charming city with everything you need, art, shopping, leisure, and yet not overwhelming.
I have to say I've only had good experiences hosting people in my apartment with Airbnb. I feel very proud for that. Interesting guests from all around the world!
