Where you’ll be

Newtown, County Clare, Ireland

The cottage itself is very rural with the nearst supermarket being a 5 minute drive away in the village of Corofin. Corofin is right beside the Burren National Park and is known as the Gateway to the Burren.

We are only 20 mins away from Ennis and Lahinch, both of which contain bigger supermarkets to stock up on supplies. The Atlantic coastline, the Wild Atlantic Way, the Cliffs of Moher and all the amenities of the Burren and county Clare are less than 25 to 30 mins away.

Corofin itself is surrounded by many beautiful lakes and is a great spot for fishing. The edge of the Burren is located in Kilnaboy which is less than 10 mins away.

If there are any Father Ted fans we are about 10 mins away from father teds house. During the summer you can go have tea there, but make sure to book first!

We also have a great knowledge of the local area and would be happy to assist in any way with your adventure
