This cozy cabin was perfect for our group. Clean and well-organized, we had everything we needed: complete kitchen, games, books. Nicely appointed with warmly modern country furnishings - nothing frumpy, just fresh and cozy. A great design exercise in the efficient use of compact spaces. Great decks front and back for reading, hanging out.
Such an adorable place! We loved it. Check in was easy, and the house was perfect. Thanks Kelly!
Wonderful cabin, fully equipped with everything you need, really cozy and is a great place to stay in winter. Great location with amenities a very short drive. Kelly the host was very responsive and friendly.
The heating was great which is important during winter! its a small cabin so heats up quickly. Takes a bit of work to discover the right settings so all rooms stay warm overnight.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We had such a great stay at Kelly's home. Beautifully decorated and a great location!
Kellys' cabin was a pleasant surprise and it was a delightful stay/ Even though we planned in advance, getting a place in Tahoe during New Years Week is not easy; finding a great place that is not an over priced condo frat house is even harder. So driving up to the cabin on a quiet street that was easy to find and surprisingly centrally located to North Shore everything was a real treat. Inside the decor is simple, tasteful and intuitive. Warm and cozy, great deck out back and chilly enough outside, it was great to cut some kindling, stoke the fire, and enjoy the woods. We ski'id Alpine and everything was close and easy, and anything we needed, which was very little, Kelly was right back to us within minutes. She was cool, funny, and a real pleasure as well. When informed there was no WiFi ( bring your mobile hot spots if you really need to be wired ) she suggested puzzles. Great advice in this day and age when we just won't allow ourselves to slow down - sanity check: its why we came to a cabin n the woods ! The house was clean, cozy and comfy, nice kitchen full appointed, which is always nice, and the upstairs could accommodate a few friends. It would be awesome to come back and we do look forward to it, maybe when its warm enough to hit the lake. Thank you Kelly !
The cabin was as described, authentic and cosy, has more than we expected -games, cooking utensils than we expected. The large decks and proximity to the lake and short drive to Northstar is perfect for a family vacation. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. We would stay again.
We had a great time. The house is in a lovely location. It's very well appointed with lots of quirky decorations. It was a pleasure to stay there. Highly recommended.
We spent a week at Kelly's cabin and had a fantastic experience. Beautiful sitaution, only 10 mins walk to Lake Tahoe which was amazing. The cabin had plenty of space, was very clean and we lacked for nothing. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch watching the wildlife and reading plenty of books. Can't fault anything.
Kelly was very responsive and an absolute gentlelady. This cabin packs a punch for its size: awesome board games, dominos for those bones matches, fire pit, bocci.
So nice to wake up and sit on the back deck and drink tea as the sun rises. I highly recommend this spot.
This was a great little cabin for my group of 4. We came over the summer, but it was a bit chilly and the fireplace was great to have. The beach access is right across the street, so if you plan on lake activities, it's a great location. My group preferred to go hiking, so it was a bit far from the major hiking trails, but we had a car so it wasn't a problem.
The house is fully stocked with bedding, towels, and any kitchen utensils you might need. There's no internet connection, but plenty of board games to enjoy. Places to eat are also a short walk away.
The only issue we had was with the trash--there was no trash bin outside (since it's bear country?), so we ended up having to take our trash bag with us to throw out in the nearest dump.
Overall, Kelly was very responsive and gave us a great list of recommendations and we had a great time at her cabin.
