It is a typical mountain house, located in the village of Le Cret at an altitude of 1770 m, whose construction dates back to the 16th century and was used as a barn for the storage of cereals. It is a portion of a building that is part of a completely renovated complex and, as with the other housing units, the renovation took place while maintaining the original style and materials as much as possible, compatible with modern housing needs.

The space
It is a small luxurious mountain house, fully furnished with fine finishes in a modern style.
Upstairs is the fully furnished kitchen equipped with dishes, fridge, dishwasher and oven.
A spiral staircase leads down to the sleeping area where there is a bedroom with a double bed and a modern TV.
Finally, the bathroom has a comfortable shower, toilet, bidet and sink.
A hairdryer and towels are also provided.
There is also a small walk-in closet where the supplied deck chairs are located.
The heating is on the floor combined with two radiators, one in the living area and another in the bathroom and, in addition, there is a pellet stove for those who really feel the cold!
Outside the chalet there is a large lawn, shared with the guests of the adjacent house (Lo Tzambron) where you can sunbathe and have lunch, also using the barbecue available to guests.
The house is 1 km from the beautiful GranTor cross-country ski trail (30 km total) and about 2 km from the Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium. Starting on foot from the house, you can take beautiful hikes suitable for both beginners and mountain professionals. Electric bicycles (pedal assisted) can also be rented for a unique experience!

In the Saint Barthélemy area, there is one of the most beautiful cross-country ski slopes in the Aosta Valley.
It is a 32-kilometer area, starting from the Nordic Ski Center in Porliod, totally surrounded by nature, with beautiful landscapes and with a route that allows you to ski with excellent sunshine. Going up and down, in the midst of woods and alpine meadows, is a unique experience that restores the body and mind, which tones and relaxes and that, after taking off your skis at the end of the day, makes you want to come back.
You can choose the routes that best suit your abilities and needs, from the shortest 3.5 km loop to the 30 km loop, called "Saint Barthélemy Gran Tor", with numerous spectacular views.
Beginners will also be able to take their first steps at the large ski school located at the beginning, with the possibility of learning the technique with local ski instructors.
There are no ski lifts in the area, so to practice downhill skiing you will need to travel by car; the nearest resort is Pila (AO) which is about 30 km away
