Very welcoming B&B and highly recommended. Martina and Richard were very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic! The view from the house overlooks the town of Kinsale and is very beautiful. If you can, stay here!
We enjoyed one night with Martina & Richard. The room was very comfortable & the bed great with lovely linens and ensuite is large. The location on the hill give fabulous views ..they are very lucky to live in this picturesque town of Kinsale ,the local pub is handy to walk to for a good meal. All round after a good sleep we felt refreshed for further travels to Dublin.
We travel widely. This is our first time using AIRBNB and we will continue to use them following this experience. My wife and I stayed 3 nights over a weekend with Richard and Martina; who were very welcoming and gracious hosts. Their stone-built home is really beautifully finished throughout. Our bedroom and en-suite bathroom were spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The views over the bay are stunning from the veranda and Kinsale town is a nice easy amble away. The breakfasts were prepared to our choice and were really excellent. Overall we would give a 10/10 rating. Thank you Richard and Martina.
Amazing b&b, great view over the harbour, great walks around and one of the most famous pub&restaurant in Kinsale the Bulman pub at your step door, top class food!
The previous reviews were all spot on. Place and couple living there are lovely. Glamourous b&b en par with a hotel. Great breakfast too! Can't complain.
The house is in the outskirts of Kinsale at a location that offers a lovely view across the bay into the small harbor of the town. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.
The hosts are very friendly and considerate! They offered us many options (full irish, scrambled eggs with salmon, a delicious fruit salad, cerials,..) for breakfast which was great.
I cannot say enough good about the experience we had in Kinsale at Martina and Richard's home. The accommodations were first rate -- beautiful rooms, immaculately cared for, luxurious even. The location is breathtaking. One of the rooms looks out over the harbor and environs, and the other room is almost as nice, with a little bit of water view but also access to a terrace that overlooks everything. Breakfasts were delicious. Our hosts were very friendly, and helpful in numerous ways. Great people! Kinsale is totally charming small city/large town with narrow winding streets, great food, and beautiful beaches. We were indeed tempted to stay. Many day trip possibilities.
Michael and Beverly were fantastic guests, and we enjoyed what time we spent in their company. They are both, very friendly, and considerate of your personal space. We would be very happy to have them stay again, and would highly recommend them as guests. Martina & Richard

I was born and raised in Summercove and so am a true native of the area. I met my husband Richard, when he came over for the Kinsale Jazz Fringe Festival and he ended up moving over just over 2 years later.
We have both traveled extensively and enjoy other cultures, cuisines, music and meeting local people. Our favourite way to travel is to book a flight and a vehicle and then see where it leads us. Now we've found airbnb, future trips should be even better.
