Beautiful home, very clean, great communication and lovely hosts! Gave us the perfect dinner recommendation for a lovely date. We would absolutely stay here again!
Martina and Robert were wonderful hosts, we were late getting in due to car trouble but they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their house is beautiful and they made us feel extremely welcome.
My boyfriend and I spent a peaceful two nights at Anchor Lodge B&B with hosts Martina and Richard. It was just a short drive from town and the property is absolutely gorgeous. When we arrived we had coffee on their stone patio overlooking Kinsale Harbor and watched the sun set. The room was so clean and comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Breakfast both days was delicious and we had fun chatting with the other guests. Martina also gave us some sight seeing suggestions that proved very helpful. All in all a great base in Kinsale if you have a car.
We liked this location very much: the view is amazing, the breakfast excellent and Martina and Richard are very kind hosts. A good choice! In Bullman's pub they have excellent lobster for a reasonable price. We also did some snorkling with Oceanaddicts and this was great: very nice people, we saw seals and big crabs.
Really nice B&B. Room was spotless; really nicely decorated and building was quiet. Breakfast was really nice too. 25 mins of a nice leisurely walk to Kinsale harbour. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend.
The room was just wonderful, and the location even better. I would stay there again, if only to have the perfect scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

About the Host, Martina
I was born and raised in Summercove and so am a true native of the area. I met my husband Richard, when he came over for the Kinsale Jazz Fringe Festival and he ended up moving over just over 2 years later.
We have both traveled extensively and enjoy other cultures, cuisines, music and meeting local people. Our favourite way to travel is to book a flight and a vehicle and then see where it leads us. Now we've found airbnb, future trips should be even better.
