INTERNET: Guests have access to the internet for customary and reasonable use. Home internet plans in Canada are capped by bandwidth. I have 70 GB/month. This amount will be roughly pro-rated by length of stay (e.g. 17.5 gb per week, and so on). Overages incur a charge of $3/GB and will be deducted from the security deposit. Note, it is impossible to go over the bandwidth limit without knowing, as you are prompted and must acknowledge the online prompt to continue using the internet.
Please note that as per Ontario law, any damages to the unit or loss of property will be processed through the insurance policy of the registered guest. For example, if water damage were caused by flooding as the result of improper use of the appliances, this claim will be processed through your homeowner or renter’s insurance and you will bear all responsibility for payment of any and all deductibles.
LIABILITY: Renters bear responsibility for the proper and reasonable care of the loft during their stay. Damage to the loft, appliances, furniture, wall finishes, personal items, linens, and the structure itself will be charged to the renter (e.g. irresponsible use of the bathroom resulting in clogged sewer lines, damage to kitchen appliances, etc).
SUMMER NOTE: Considerable funds are spent making the terrace green! The plants are not only nice to look at but they create a privacy screen so you can enjoy the outdoor space in peace. As the plants are considered part of the contents of the loft, their costs will be deducted from the security deposit if they are neglected and die as a result of non-watering.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Use of the loft is exclusively for the guests making up the reservation. The unit is for personal accommodation, not for the hosting of events or parties of any kind. Violation of this policy will result in the full forfeiture of your security deposit, additional financial penalties from Airbnb, and potential legal action.
James is a incredible host! He was in constant communication with me and made sure to take care of any questions I had before my arrival. His place was wonderful! It's located in a fun area with lots of shops, cafes and eateries all along Queen with public transit only steps away. The space itself was clean and comfortable and I loved that the shower had hot water almost instantly. I'm very happy to have stayed here!
My stay at James' loft was great. James was very specific with the "check-in" instructions and made it very easy for me. He was always quick to respond, helpful and easy to get ahold of. The whole experience was a breeze. The place was clean and spacious with lots of great morning light.
Leslieville is great, with plenty of excellent Toronto cafes, restaurants, bars etc. Great grocery stores as well if you are planning on cooking. And it's all in easy walking distance.
My stay at James' apartment lived up to my expectations and then some. He was always available to answer questions and is a very considerate and welcoming host.
The apartment is delightful and everthing one needs is provided.
Leslieville is a great area with plenty of interesting shops and good restaurants as well. Tha apartment couldn't be more convenient with regard to public transportation. One can be downtown in no time on the streetcar and enjoy viewing the city while traveling down Queen St.
I would recommend James' loft 100%!
We enjoyed our stay at James's loft in Leslieville very much. The loft was clean and welcoming. It is close to all the amenities and to public transportation. Leslieville is a wonderful neighbourhood - a real community spirit to it. Good area to explore with lots of restaurants and antique shops.
James's instructions were clear and we had no trouble finding the location and picking up our keys. He got in touch with us to make sure everything was alright. He is very conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely try to stay at his loft again the next time we come to Toronto.
James was a great host during my two-week stay. He acted promptly on my last-minute request and contacted me during the stay to see if I needed anything. Quiet condo in a great location
James did an excellent job in hosting us while we stay in his place. His place is very charming and clean. It is also very convenient. We will definitely come back if we travel to Toronto!
My dad was visiting from out of town so I arranged for him to stay at James' place. James was easy to communicate with and flexible with his schedule. His apartment is beautifully furnished and maintained and I would absolutely recommend staying here.
