  • Had a fantastic weekend at James' loft. James was very accomodating and courteous, and the loft was clean and inviting.

Fantasic location for doing things in Toronto's thriving east end and downtown core.

James was very clear in his communications concerning the loft and very accomodating as well. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

  • The loft is very welcoming, tidy and well-kept, and well-located with easy access to streetcar and subway, as well as the restaurants and coffee shops of Queen East. James was a fantastic host, quick to respond to questions, providing us with information on the neighborhood, and leaving the place in great shape for us. The loft itself has a sizeable kitchen, comfortable bed, nicely appointed bathroom, and a large walk-out deck that (weather permitting) is a great place to sit and chat. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

  • James' place was tidy and comfortable and he left maps and helpful notes in the apartment. Leading up to our visit he even emailed us a bunch of restaurant suggestions tailored to our vegetarian needs!
If you're traveling with kids I'll note that the bedroom alcove is situated between the bathroom and the living room so its easy to disturb light sleepers, but overall, a great place to stay and check out Leslieville. I loved nearby Te Aro - and enjoying my iced coffee on James' wonderful terrace!

  • This loft space was a fantastic place for my friend and I to stay in for our recent visit to Toronto. The loft, and the building, were clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is great, too—right around the corner from a number of good restaurants, coffee houses and stores, as well as the tram car to get you to other Toronto neighborhoods.

James is very accommodating in preparing the loft for guests. For instance, he left an airbed we requested ready, space in the closet for our clothes, extra toiletries in case we needed them and helpful notes throughout the apartment that answered most common questions guests would have. It was all very welcoming, and we quickly felt at home.

Although I didn't meet with James face to face, he's very responsive with emails and was quick to answer a few questions I had during the course of our stay.

Clearly, this loft was great for our stay, and I'd be happy to stay there again next time I'm in Toronto.

  • Everything was well organised and thought through, the loft was easily accessible from downtown by streetcar and Lesliville is a cool and lively neighborhood. The loft itself was clean and fresh with a comfortable bed, high ceilings and a wonderful big terrace. We greatly enjoyed our stay at James's place and I would certainly stay there again when in Toronto.

  • My daughter and I had a delightful stay here, while visiting my son in Toronto. This condo is a contemporary loft, with a wonderful very large terrace. We enjoyed cooking on the grill, having dinner on the terrace one evening. The condo is lovely, comfortable and is in a nice, rather hip trendy area, very near downtown. Owner is very responsive to questions and needs. We would stay here again.

  • James was very welcoming and helpful. He was very reachable during our stay and quickly answered any questions we had.

The loft was very inviting and close to public transportation - making it very easy to get anywhere we wanted.

    A great place to stay!

  • A beautiful compact apartment with everything you could need in this elegantly and well furnished loft space with the added bonus of a terrace. James made everything very easy, a very reliable and friendly host, going over and above to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Leslieville is interesting and full of character, a great location away from downtown Toronto. Toronto has much to discover and I would highly recommend this space to you for your stay.

    July 2012
  • James is a great communicator, and everything we needed to know from check-in to check-out was right there for us. Great place/amenities. James was also very responsive to text messages. Would stay there again.

    June 2012
  • James' loft was in a fantastic location, close to all that Toronto has to offer. The bed was super comfy and the apartment was very quiet at night. The covered patio and BBQ were perfect for summer evenings.
