The Mill Valley Loft House was absolutely perfect! I was traveling on business, and this property provided the perfect respite. Amanda's hospitality was impeccable and every detail was so well through-out.
The accommodations far exceeded by expectations based on the description. Most of all, the space was extremely quiet and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Loved this loft and the surrounding area! Amanda was very sweet and made us feel welcome. Absolutely gorgeous space and very comfortable bed. Amanda and her husband were gracious enough to leave a bottle of wine and some really good snacks as well :-) We were close to town and all the hiking trails. The house has a backyard with a gorgeous view of Mount Tam. Highly recommended!
We will be back! We got to the loft and received lots of special treatment beyond what was expected. Welcome fresh fruits, chips, a good bottle of wine, some stock in the fridge, half and half, milk, local artisan coffee and more. Amanda left us with a list of local restaurants they've tried and some suggestions on what to do around town, including instructions of the hike downtown that came in handy. We cooked some meals there, there were ample equipment and condiments. Really enjoyed the stainless kitchen appliances, high end coffeemaker, kitchen tools. There were plush wool thrown on the comfy king bed. I was impressed with the lighting, especially the dimmers. This place was done in good taste, even the shampoo, soap, lotion are all fine quality. The interiors matched the standards we were looking for, wood floors, brightly mosaic-tiled bathroom with glass shower enclosure. Neutral Roman shaded Windows let in abundant light and allowed for restful sleep at night. The property was gorgeous and the trail to downtown made it even more wonderful.
We had a wonderful stay at the Mill Valley Loft House. It was perfectly located! We didn't get in our car once during our stay. We walked down the path through the redwoods into town each morning, and hiked up to the Dipsea Trail right from the Loft. Amanda and her family were great hosts and had a bottle of wine, snacks, and fresh fruit waiting for us when we arrived. They even set up a pack-and-play for our 6 month old. The Loft itself was lovely, very tastefully decorated, and very bright and sunny while surrounded by woods. Comfortable bed, soft towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and a great shower. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great find.
I loved everything about this place. Beautiful surroundings and easy access to a lovely town. My mom and I had a terrific time. We would love to come back!
A really beautiful studio apartment that is spacious with soaring ceilings and beautiful views. Super clean and high end decor. Walk down a pretty trail to town.
We had a great time staying in the loft. Comfy bed, tons of natural light, great shower and moments from restaurants and the theatre (we were there for the film festival). An easy drive to Mt Tam if you like hiking or picnicking. And oh the smell of the trees!
It's an even easier walk to town- there are some steps to navigate through the backyard - more than 200 actually- we jokingly referred to them as the Inca Trail. The path is lit at night, but you might find yourself turning on a flashlight app on your smart phone.
It's very peaceful there - in fact, the only noise you might hear besides a deer or two is the garage door opening (loft is directly above) and that was on rare occasion.
If you have any questions, Amanda is just a call away. Lovely hosts, adorable children and a big dog you just want to hug. Have fun!
