  • Very nicely located, clean and artsy apartment, with beautiful photos and canvases: it feels homey and alive. There is everything one might need to be comfortable and feel relaxed. The neighborhood is lively, nice bars and restaurants, and beautiful architecture and nice little shops. I booked at the very last moment and Barbara was very helpful and efficient in organizing our stay at the apartment. Highly reccommended!

  • Me and my parents stayed in Barbara's apartment around new year. We had most wonderful time and the apartment was spacious enough for three of us. The neighbourhood is very quiet and calm and the bus number 200 takes you smoothly to every important places. The Italian restaurant in the same house is excellent!

Barbara was not self there but had arranged her friend Elisa to give us keys and guide us. She was very kind, sweet and helpful. Before the trip I changed several messages with Barbara and she seems to be a very caring host.

One minus in the apartment was the bed sofa. I could sleep there by myself when using the other half of the sofa but the other half is very lumpy and bad for the back.

But in general, a good experience!

  • Barbara's apartment was perfect! My boyfriend and I stayed here for almost two months and loved every minute of our visit. The apartment is cozy, the kitchen fully stocked, and the king size bed is very comfortable. We loved the neighborhood with all its cute cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. It is very close to downtown yet the area is quiet. Barbara was a wonderful host and was very quick to reply to our e-mails. Her friend Madeline checked us in to the apartment and was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Barbaras flat gave us the good feeling to be at home in one of Berlins most inspiring quarters, directly in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg.
If you ever want to embed yourself into the people and culture of the Bötzow-Viertel, this is the right place to stay.
The flat is spacious and fully equipped for an extended stay.

  • Me and a friend really enjoyed Barbaras apartment and our staying in Berlin. It was wonderful with the opportunity of borrowing two bikes. We borrowed them every day and got the chance to see so much more of the city. It was great! Everything worked out good in the apartment. Best regards Susanne

  • Nice and quite apartment. Bedroom, living-room, kitchen and toilet are spacious and comfy. Small terrace.
The neighborhood is mostly young families.

  • Barbara's apartment was lovely to stay in. The neighborhood was so inviting and friendly that the only difficulty was in finding the motivation to venture out to other parts of Berlin. She was away, but her friend Andrea was helpful and the stay was just as I had hoped.

  • Barbara is a very friendly, well-organized and considerate hostess. I stayed at her wonderful apartment for 9 full weeks, and I immediately felt at home.

I did not have the opportunity to meet Barbara in person, but our email communication went quickly and smoothly, as well as the transfer of keys via her friend Andreas.

The apartment fully matches the description. Barbara was even kind enough to let me borrow her bike, which enabled me to make a lot of trips in the beautiful and very pleasant neighborhood.

I recommend Barbara’s whole-heartedly, and would really enjoy staying there again, if the opportunity arrives!

  • Barbara is a brilliant host. Everything went smooth with arranging the stay and handing over keys by her friend, Andreas. It is very central and close to the area around Kastanien Allé and Schönhauser Allé. The apartment is clean, and the big bath top was a huge success for our daughter. The weather was bad, but fortunately that has nothing to do with Barbara :-)She has recommended a great exhibition with Gerhard RIchter, that we went to see. So, thumbs up for Barbaras apartment.
