M-House is a modern desert retreat, situated in a residential neighborhood while maintaining the feeling of cool isolation whether indoors or out. The decor is minimal yet comfortable, with every amenity and detail kept in mind. Swim laps in the backyard pool or relax with the jets on in the in-ground hot tub. Wake up feeling rested in one of the king-sized beds. Restaurants, shops, and the National Park are all a short 8-minute drive away. Please let us welcome you as our guest at M-House!

The space
M-House is a brand new construction home - designed, furnished and decorated with love by its owners. It features a spacious kitchen for gourmet cooking, open layout living and dining area, and two bedrooms with two full baths. The pool and connected in-ground hot-tub are amazing for relaxing during any season. Keep your vehicle out of the heat in our 2-car garage, and stay cool under the shaded area out back - or indoors with our modern Nest cooling system. You will want for nothing during your stay at M-House, and venturing to Joshua Tree National Park or the downtown area is only a 8 minute drive away.

—Parking
There is a two-car garage for your parking.

—Neighborhood
The property has neighbors to the North that have no vision of the inside of the house or courtyard. There are also more distant neighbors to the south and west, in which the courtyard wall shields from view.

—Oven
Please make sure to turn on the vent while using the oven, the glass above the range will slide towards you, and the fan will turn on using the switch on the range hood, otherwise the carbon alarm will ring.

—Smart TV
We have a smart TV in the house, please connect it with your account.

—Jacuzzi
Please shower before use. The temperature control penal is next to living room sliding door. Please don’t put any liquid/solid soap into it, any extra cost occurring will be charged. The guests will take all liability and responsibility for your own safety.

—Pool
Anyone under 18 needs his/her parent’s present while swimming or near the pool for safety reasons. No diving and no glass near the pool.. The guests will take full liability and responsibility for your own and your guests safety.
This Pool can be heated, the pool heating fee is $150 per day, please notice us if you’d like to heat it up.
Please note that the pool service is between 2pm - 4pm every Tuesday or Wednesday, they will normally access to the pool from back yard.

—Dishes
Please load the dishwasher prior to checking out if you have used any dishes. Be sure to remove excess food into the trash. we will run the dishwasher once you’ve completed your stay.

—Broken Items
We understand that accidents happen, if anything breaks down - even if it's your fault - let us know so we can send someone to fix it or replace it for you and future guests (contact information attached above in the emergency contact section).

Please leave the house a neat and tidy condition. Thank you for your consideration.

—Plumbing
All houses in Joshua Tree are on a Septic Tank system. For this reason nothing can be flushed down the toilet except toilet paper. Following these guidelines will avoid problems with the plumbing. If it is determined that the pipes have been clogged due to misuse, a $200 repair fee will be charged. Thank you for your cooperation.

—Please let us know if there are any serious stains on the furniture or floors, or if here is damage to anything and we will try our best to fix it ASAP.

—Security Camera
According to the requirements from Insurance Company, there are security cameras facing drive way and courtyard. However, the footage only lasts for 48 hours and we don’t monitor it unless any issues raised.

—Parties or Events or Extra Guest
We do not allow guests to throw parties or events in our home, unless agreed upon during the booking process. We designed house environment for 4 people and please be sure no extra guests in the house. Please inform us if you have visitors or any overnight friends, we will charge $100/person for extra overnight guests. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors.

—Film/Video and Photos
Our property is a beautiful place to shoot photos and videos, we welcome you to tag us on Ins at
@somewhere_joshuatree. Professional shoots, however, are priced at a different rate and must be cleared with us in advance of your stay. If you are in doubt, inquire first. We will charge $5000 per violation, plus production fee up to $575/hour.

—Pets
We love animals as much as anyone. But due to getting allergies among some of the guests, we have to keep M House an animal-free zone. $60 will be charged for special cleaning fee. You are required to disclose before booking if you have a service animal.

—No-Smoking
Smoking (including E-Cig) is not allowed in the property or within 15 feet exterior door. Please dispose cigarettes into a plastic bag and put it in the outdoor trash can. If above is not maintained, we will charge $100 special cleaning fee. Please smoke outside and dispose of your cigarettes in the trash. I appreciate your cooperation!

—Checking Out
Please check out of our Airbnb rental by 11:00AM. please checking out by this time ensures that we have enough time to clean the property and get it ready for our next guest. Let us know if this is going to be a problem so we can plan accordingly. For late check out, we will reserve the right for penalty.

M-House is situated in the middle of a block in a residential neighborhood. We love this area for its laid-back feel, quiet neighbors, and proximity to everything. Enjoy solitude and privacy inside the home with tinted windows and great soundproofing, and the same retreat in the backyard with a full and tasteful privacy fence surrounding. You can drive a short 8 minutes to be right in the heart of downtown Joshua Tree with its shops, restaurants, bars and sights. The same 8 minute drive will get you to the entrance of the National Park.
