The place was great! I didn't get to meet the host but that wasn't a problem at all. Her instructions were very simple. The overall experience was as enjoyable. It was a very cozy spot, beautiful backyard and it was very presentable. I would definitely stay here again.
An amazing experience at Grace's cozy place. She first alerted me a week advance saying that she would HAVE to move me into her bigger place due to upcoming event have had planed. Hard to be upset the with the upgrade and happy with the clear communication. On the subject of communication, FLAWLESS. Always available and gave us the heads up that the room was ready earlier than normal. Great news being that we arrived in from our over night drive a bit earlier than expected.
All and all, it would be a pleasure to come back and stay with Grace. I would in fact recommend it highly.
Very easy and simple check in and check out (greatly reduced my stress considering how flight delays constantly occur). Easy place to find and a perfect spot to use as a launch pad to exploring all things Austin. Very spacious space and I love the fact a great coffee shop was at the end of the road.
We were so pleased with this stay, as it was perfect for us to be able to come and go as we pleased. I appreciated that everything within the apartment was there for us to use, which is definitely not something you're able to get when visiting in a hotel. Grace was wonderful and so understanding with the few hiccups we had, and she did her best to resolve any issues that came up during our stay. We were very impressed!
This was great. Greg was a fantastic host and his place was very clean, organized, and inviting. They were also very gracious about letting us have a few friends over after the UT vs WVU game. I would certainly go back.
Grace and Greg were awesome hosts. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The place is stocked with just about anything you'd need from a french press to board games. With a large couch and multiple air mattresses, the place is great for a short to extended stay. Nearby are great restaurants and bars for all your food and beverage needs. Downtown is easily accessible by bus, light rail or a cheap Uber ride during normal rates. Overall, my party had a great time in Austin and would definitely come back to stay with Grace and Greg.
What a great spot! The place is as cozy as it looks. An easy place to relax, especially with the spots outside in the yard to hang out in. Grace made the check in and check out incredibly easy and simple. The laundry machine in the unit was also a lifesaver after walking around on a hot day. A great location for getting around Austin, and the neighborhood itself is worth checking out, with some nice conveniences (a good coffee shop, semi fancy restaurant, and a gas station for grabbing some beer) literally on the end of the block. You'll enjoy it here.

I have lived in Austin going on 16 years but it's been my home from day one. I'm a school teacher and have summers off with additional breaks throughout the year. As the rest of the world works during these times, I have to keep myself entertained and part of that is running a part time B&B [but I don’t cook, so ignore that second B]. Taking care of people is what I'm best at: my students, my family (I just got married), and possibly YOU...
Austin is an amazing place for outdoor activities, we live 3 miles [a down-hill bike route] from the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail.
The trail caters to bikers, walkers, kayaking, dog walking, canoes and...Barton Springs Pool!
The main house was built in the 1940's and we have since added a detached garage apartment/efficiency living situation as well as a detached garage apartment/giant living room type space. The efficiency and the apartment are the available spaces along with the shared yard. We rent out the main house for SXSW and F1 Races only.
