The Space

This bright, spacious large studio apartment with the minimalistic décor, light wooden floor. white walls, and quality furniture creates an uber-cool atmosphere. This is a truly stylish urban retreat in the heart of Palermo Soho district.
After a day in the city to help you relax you have a entertainment system, with cable Plasma TV, sound system, and WiFi. You also have a fully equipped open kitchen to prepare a light snack and includes a coffee maker, toaster and microwave.
If you can pull yourself away from the comfort of the studio and want to explore other parts of the city, there is a metro station 5 blocks from your doorstep.

The area also abounds in markets, restaurants, groceries and all convenient stores to get the supplies you need to have a great time in BA. You could also enjoy an afternoon walk in the city parks nearby where you will find plenty to catch your eye.
The building also features a nice open pool on the ground floor with a lounge area and a nice garden with trees and green grass.

Located in the heart of the city´s trendy community of Palermo. This neighborhood is close to the city´s largest parkland including the Botanical Gardens, the Japenese Garden, the Rose Garden, the Zoo Garden, and the Palermo lakes. Plaza Armenia, sorrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants, is located just 2 blocks away.
.................................................................................................. If you expect to arrive early in the day and would like immediate access to your apartment , we recommend booking the apartment for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your apartment till you depart. If other guests are coming or going on the same day ,check-out from the apt. is11am and check-in is1pm. I am super flexible with this. If no one needs the apt that day, it is all yours. We will discuss this when you book or check into the apartment.
If you choose not to reserve, I will be glad to store your bags.

The Neighborhood

The one thing you need to know if you’ve never visited Buenos Aires :Palermo Soho is where you will likely spend most of your time. It is the hippest area of the city, with the widest selections of great restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops. Palermo Soho itself is the trendiest neighbourhood in town, dotted with boutique stores that display some of the city’s coolest fashion. It’s also the place where Porteños come to grab drinks with friends, meet families for dinner, visit the weekend markets, and walk the dog.
In short, it’s a neighbourhood that breathes everyday life.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We LOVED our stay in Palermo Soho! Our welcome from Marcelo was so friendly and full of great, practical information. This studio apartment was perfect for the two of us. The location was brilliant to explore Palermo Soho and Hollywood and it's many great cafés, restaurants and shopping. The metro was maybe ten mins walk away so easy to get to. There's a laundry service close by in Paraguay Street - friendly, cheap and fast service. We'd happily stay here again and again! Thanks to Marcelo, Ralf and the team for their help and hospitality.

  • Ralf (email hidden)om the beginning, he was very responsive (he responded to my initial inquiry and follow up questions literally within minutes). The check-in process was hassle-free and during our stay, he and his team were readily available when we had questions. They also organized safe and on-time transportation for my boyfriend and I in the city, once at the very last minute.

As far as the apartment, the location was absolutely perfect. It’s within a 10 minute walk from lots of great cafes, restaurants and bars, the shops on Armenia Street and the Scalabrini Ortiz subway stop, but is still on a quiet and calm street. The inside of the apartment was as pictured, and the wi-fi, appliances, AC and safe worked well. Overall a great experience!

  • Great place to stay. Perfectly placed on the edge of amazing Palermo's hotbed of food fun and cool places and therefore quiet late at night. Tomas was incredibly helpful and gave us all the advice we needed. Especially around what to watch out for re. pickpockets and counterfeit money. None of which was ever a problem though but it's definitely advice to be thankful for.
The place itself had everything we needed and was of an excellent standard. You also have access to your hosts 24/7 if you ever did need them at anytime for what ever reason.
    Highly recommended!

  • Nice unit - modern decor and (website hidden)4U staff were very accommodating and personable. The Soho unit is in a safe area on a quiet one way street close to bars and restaurants. A Deco grocery store is around the corner and down 1 block. Enjoyed our stay

  • Professional, Prompt, Polite, Perfecto! From the moment I arrived in Buenos Aires to the moment I left I was in great hands with Marcelo, Tomas and Ralf. The apartment is perfectly located in Palermo Soho, close to supermarkets, transportation, boutiques, great restaurants. The apartment was lovely, clean and safe. Even in the midst of a horrible heat wave, the a/c held out in the apartment. It was the perfect haven from the heat. I would stay there again in heartbeat. Many thanks to Marcelo and Tomas for all their tips and assistance.

  • Ralf and all his team in Buenos Aires were the best. So incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. Everything was as it was explained in the description, and the one time the heating went off Ralf had a stand-alone heater in there the next day. Like staying in a hotel with your own private concierge. We will book with Ralf in a heartbeat the next time we stay in Buenos Aires. Thanks for everything! Andrew.

  • Ralph's team is great and the apartment has an awesome location, nice interiors and everything works just fine. It's woth every cent. Truly recommended if you want to be close to the palermo soho main squares and restaurants and at the same time close to the metro that will take you to the center.

  • I was in Buenos Aires for three weeks in Ralf's Palermo Soho studio in Malabia. After the first few days it was home already. The apartment was excellent, I felt welcome at check in where his team had the delicacy of having fruits and water for me. Any question I had was immediately addressed during my stay. This was the first time I used AirBnB and my luck I had Ralf and his staff to take care of me. I will be coming to Buenos Aires a lot this semester for work and will not hesitate one second in booking with Ralf again. THANK YOU RALF AND YOUR TEAM!!!

  • Honestly, look no further for the best place to stay in Buenos Aires -- do yourself a favor and just book with Ralf and Ba4u apartments. I cannot say enough good things about him and his organization. Ralf and his friendly staff (thanks Andreas and Marcelo!) are simply top notch: professional, friendly, accommodating, dependable -- 100% hassle-free! As for this particular studio, it is gorgeous -- absolutely immaculate, chic, and far too spacious to call a studio. The location also could not be better: I stayed in several neighborhoods in BA, including San Telmo, and in my opinion, you definitely should base yourself in Palermo Soho. It is safe, charming, and bursting with restaurants and cafes of character, interesting shops and bookstores (check out Libros del Pasaje on Thames), the botanical garden, and two authentic milongas (La Viruta and Salon Canning) if you want to watch and/or dance tango. All of this is within walking distance of the apartment, and you're also only blocks away from the major avenues of Santa Fe and Scalabrini Ortiz where you can easily catch buses and the Subte to the rest of the city. 5 stars!!!

  • Had a fantastic time in Buenos Aires and loved my apartment in Palermo Soho where I stayed 11 nights. The apartment was exactly as its pictured, spacious, bright, clean, and very comfortable. The building was clean and safe, the neighbors were friendly. The location is excellent if you want to be near restaurants, cafes, bars and trendy shopping. The supermarket is also a few blocks away. Ralf's staff were organized, responsive, and very nice. No problems with checking in or checking out. Would absolutely rent this apartment again. In fact, I did not want to leave. The building had a sauna, small gym, and pool. I did not use any of the facilities due to lack of time, but they looked inviting. I have stayed in Palermo several times before and can say that this is a great apartment and a great location.

Director Ba4u apartments
Although a German national, I have actually resided outside of my native country for almost half my life. My first ventured abroad to Greece where I worked in guest relations at a premier hotel in Athens. From there I moved to Sydney, Australia where he held an post as personal assistant to a major politician within the Australian Parliament. Soon, with a desire to be more independent, I followed my instincts and in Sydney I opened, managed and ultimately sold, two very successful natural food and juice bars. It was then, in 2007, When I decided to return to a place which I had visited some years before---BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA---and now, it is the place I call home!
