Hagal Farm is a rural, rustic retreat - a traditional farm house (our family home) with a connected guest annex. We are a 20 minute drive to the nearest town of Bantry. An oasis of calm, the property is nestled on the slopes of the Maughnaclea Mountains, with breathtaking views over the Mealagh Valley & Bantry Bay in the distance. Ideal for medium sized groups & family reunions. Sorry no loud parties, no hens/stags, no groups of under 25's.

Hagal Farm is situated in the countryside and we are 20 min drive to Bantry - the nearest town on rural roads. Within easy reach of Glengarriff National Park and the pretty harbour town of Schull, as well as the beautiful peninsulas of West Cork.

Our house is an old restored farm house (dating back almost 200 years) so it has lots of character. If you are looking for 5 star hotel accommodation - this is not us!

Our neighbours are retired people and farmers. Please respect the privacy around their homes, their land and outbuildings. Close gates when you cross their fields and don't let your children play in their sheds.
The rental fee includes:
The rent of the entire farm including farmhouse and annex (7 bedrooms)
Heating, gas, and linens.

The rental fee does not include: use of sauna, €5 per use.

After leaving our home in Hay on Wye (where Sarah was an Airbnb Superhost) we moved to Hagal Farm in Bantry in August 2019 where we took over from the previous owners in running the property as an Airbnb and Retreat Centre. Over the past 20 years David has worked in the field of complementary medicine and taught yoga. We both enjoy travelling (especially in India) and we would like to live as self-sufficiently as we can. Our aim is for our new venture to be a restorative place of peace and quiet where people can come and enjoy the beautiful scenery and leave feeling refreshed and revitalised.
