Irene's place is amazing and so is she. So helpful! She was available 24/7 to give recommendations, made reservations, and even let us use her phone to call family in Italy and got directions for us. Her place is perfect. Trastereve is a magical place and her apartment is right in the middle!
Our stay with Irene was amazing! She was full of wonderful information about the area to include fabulous recommendations for local restaurants. The apartment was as pictured and in a perfect location. We hope to return someday!

Great location, about 15-30 minute walk to major sites like the Vatican and the Colliseum. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Irene was very helpful and provided us with directions and an easy to read map. My only complaints are very minor: the WiFi was slow and the shower temperature tended to fluctuate. All in all, we had a great experience.
Irene's apartment in Trastevere was perfect for us as first-time users of Airbnb in a country in which we don't speak the language. Irene communicated with us before our trip began, arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport, greeted us on our arrival at her apartment, made dinner reservations for our first night in Rome, left helpful notes and suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and kept in touch to let us know she was available to help if we needed anything during our stay. Her apartment was clean, comfortable and conveniently located for restaurants and sightseeing. It was not quiet, but we enjoyed hearing the sounds of the city, and we were too tired to be kept awake by voices in the street. We would recommend a stay at Irene's lovely apartment.
Irene was an excellent host and the home was beautiful. She puts a lot of thought into making the space comfortable and it was very clean. The neighborhood is filled with little cafes, bars, and restaurants and gets very festive in the evening.
Irene provided everything we needed or could have wanted for our first trip to Rome. She offered to arrange for a driver to pick us up from the airport, which ended up being the same price as a taxi. Irene met us at the apartment which was perfectly located in the best area for restaurants. We spent 3 days there and walked to all the iconic sights of Rome. Breakfast in the form of toast and croissants with jam and butter were provided for each of our days. Coffee was also provided with numerous methods of making your coffee. The size of the apartment was perfect for 2 people, bigger than I thought. Although we didn't see Irene again after the first day, we messaged back and forth on viber and she offered to book us dinner each night. Take her up on this offer - every place she recommended and booked for us was amazing, and we probably wouldn't have found out about them, or been able to get a table if she hadn't booked.
If there were any downsides to this place I would say that the bed was a bit hard however all the beds I've experienced in Italy have been hard. Also, because it is in a great dining district, there is a bit of noise around 2am. This didn't really bother us though. If we return to Rome, I would stay here again - for the location, apartment itself, and the attentiveness of the host. Thanks Irene.

About the Host, Irene
I'm Irene 46 years old, me and my extended family we have decided to start a new venture by opening a vacation home in Rome ... and here we are! I started with the first apartment together with my in-laws Ivan and Claudia, and after about eight months I have continued this activity alone in Trastevere, the heart of Rome. I'll be happy to accommodate anyone who wants to come and visit me.
