Irene was a wonderful host. She was very well prepared with pertinent information about the apartment and the neighborhood, and was very helpful and responsive to our questions. She made dinner reservations for us, and arranged for a driver to the airport for us, among other things. The apartment is perfectly located in Trastevere, even very close to a walking bridge which places you across the Tiber and a short walk from Campo di Fiori.

Irene was a fantastic host who made my first Airbnb stay a memorable one. Arrival and checkout were super easy. She had great recommendations for us, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Before anything, I have to say that Irene was by far the best host I've ever encountered. She was very communicative, full of great recommendations, tips/advice, was extremely helpful and responsive, and just overall a very nice and professional person who really showed interest in our needs. My husband and I really had a great time in Irene's studio. She made check in and check out very easy, emailed me directions and recommendations before hand, greeted us upon arrival, made reservations for us to have lunch, greeted us with a bottle of wine, set up a driver to drive us to the airport at 6 in the morning and checked in to see if we made it to the airport safely. The driver was also super nice and friendly! She's pretty great! As far as the space and area goes, it's located in a great neighborhood. Very close to everything in Rome, nestled in a really hip, fun and popular area, which is Trastevere. But to be honest I wouldn't necessarily recommend this studio to older people who might want to get a good nights sleep. Since it is located in a very popular area, it can get very noisy during the night. It may also just be that it was a weekend, we were there Thursday - Saturday so it may have been louder than usual. I was woken up several times during the night by drunk people talking outside our door, or passing by. One couple were arguing to the point where she was crying. Vespas also park right outside the house, so that can get noisy at 2am in the morning, especially when they decide to just leave their vespa running for 10 mins straight. But then again, when in Rome... I feel like this is expected too, like any big city, it's going to get loud at night. So even though it didn't bother my husband as much although the noise did wake him up, it may be more that I'm becoming more sensitive to noise since I am 6 months pregnant and can't fall asleep as easily as before. Another small thing was that the bathroom was very small, so I struggled a bit, but then again when pregnant in Rome... and like any capital city I'm sure the spaces here are very tight and small, so that may be common all over Rome. Other than those two minor issues, I really do recommend this studio, and I'm very appreciative of Irene's profesional service. Thank you again Irene for everything!!!

We spent 4 days in this lovely, clean apartment in Trastevere. As per Irene's suggestion we had a chauffeur pick us up at the airport. For our first time in Rome that was exactly what we needed after a long flight. Irene was kind enough to let us drop off our luggage in the morning and return later in the afternoon. She recommended and booked dinner reservations in Trastevere, all of which worked out well. The location of the apartment is great to see all of the historical sites, all within a 15-30 minute walk. As per other reviews we brought ear plugs but we did not need them. Trastevere area is very safe and was home to very friendly staff in all establishments that we ventured. It was easy to find our morning cappuccino and pastry. We wished we could stay longer and I agree that Irene is a super host and a great ambassador for the Trastevere area.

We had a wonderful time in Rome staying in Irene’s apartment. The apartment is really nice and have everything you need. Irene is a great host. Before we arrived she sent us useful information on what to do in Rome, transport etc, and she was really helpful and helped us to book a table at a restaurant that we really wanted to try. When we arrived she met us with a smile and we felt really welcome. The apartment is spotless and clean. It was even coffee, tea and water on the house. And Irene had also placed a bottle of red wine on the kitchen table as a gift for us. The location was great! The apartment is situated in Trastevere and it’s a short distance walk to a lot of great restaurants and beautiful piazzas and streets. It’s also really close to the river Tiber and Ponte Sisto, and it is therefore easy to walk from the apartment to great sights like the Colosseum and piazza Venezia. We highly recommend Irene as a host and her apartment and helpfulness made the stay in Rome even better! If (when) we get back to Rome we know where to stay!

I'm Irene, 48 years old, me and my extended family we have decided to start a new venture by opening a vacation home in Rome ... and here we are! I started with the first apartment together with my in-laws Ivan and Claudia, and after about eight months I have continued this activity alone in Trastevere, the heart of Rome. I'll be happy to accommodate anyone who wants to come and visit me.
