WE PROVIDE TOWELS AND LINENS FOR THE BEDS.
Recently updated for a handicapped member of our family, it has a wheelchair ramp to the outside deck which gives access to bedrooms, and bathroom which has a huge handicapped shower. The new pavers ( not pictured in all photos) give access from the parking lot to the front and side of the cabin for wheelchair ease. There is also a ramp to the kitchen from the deck for access to the living room, kitchen and screened and rocking chair porch. (all doorways are at least 31 inches wide, except one that adjoins the two bathrooms and is not used to enter the shower)
One King size bed and a set of bunk beds in master bedroom and one double bed (new mattress) and a set of double bunk beds (new mattress) in the second bedroom. (sleeps 10) Also there is a fold out couch in the living room.
The kitchen comes complete with dishes, silverware, and pots and pans for cooking. A gas grill was purchased in 2016 for outdoor cooking.
Both bedrooms, and the bathroom have been renovated
with new floors and ceilings and the kitchen and screened in porch now have hard surface floors. (These renovations have eliminated the "cabin ambiance" or "damp smell" noted in Andrew's review of his stay.

I'm glad your husband and friends had a wonderful time. It was fun keeping the surprise a secret and I'm so glad the birthday was a memorable one.

We stayed at Terri's Creekside Cabin on our family trip to Gettysburg. Terri was a wonderful host. She sent us messages leading up to our stay with helpful tips and information and continued to communicate with us during and after our stay. She was also quick to answer any of our questions. The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable and very well maintained. The new renovations definitely improved our stay, too. Terri provided everything we needed and then some. The setting is beautiful tucked into the woods next to the creek!

The cabin was very welcoming and provided enough chairs outside for all the family members to talk and enjoy the breeze. Terri was very nice and provided a crib for our 2-year-old as well. If you're into driving then there are really fun/beautiful drives in the area. Hiking trails are nice as well, mainly due to the are being wooded and in the mountains. Overall, it was a fun family trip. If you're looking for a getaway to the woods with family, this is your place.

Terri was a wonderful host, starting with her communication weeks before we actually stayed at the cabin. The day we were to arrive she and her husband personally stopped by the cabin at 1pm to turn on the power and start the a/c so we weren't dying when we arrived. The cabin was a true delight. It was clean, well appointed, and clearly loved by its owners. The multiple porches (including one that is screened) allowed our largish crew of 10 plenty of space to spread out. The lake was lovely (albeit quite crowded) and an easy 10-minute walk. We spent our mornings drinking coffee by the creek and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. Overall, the trip was a complete success. The next time we have a similar jaunt planned Terri will be our first stop.

This cabin was incredible. Terri made us feel write at home. The open layout in the kitchen and living room made making dinners a blast and eating outside on the screened in porch or by the fire and the creek was so relaxing.

To start, Terri was amazing! We had a great time while staying at her cabin just outside Gettysburg. She is a very gracious host and I would not hesitate to return. The cabin was beautiful and the restoration they have done is incredible. It is very warm and inviting and decorated absolutely perfectly. There are so many neat things around the house that I found myself reading an ophthalmology textbook from probably the 50's at one point. The place is just that cool. We spent our evenings by the fire toasting marshmallows and listening to the calm babble of the creek jar behind us. We spent our days exploring Gettysburg but there was plenty to do within just a few mins of the cabin. Lots of trails and lakes for kayaking or fishing. Again, the place is amazing and Terri couldn't have been any better! We can't wait to come back!

I am a retired educator and mother of two grown children. After 30 years of teaching, I fill my days with friends, family, and outdoor activities like gardening, hiking and kayaking. I've recently travelled to Italy, but my favorite destination has to be our family cabin which I have been enjoying for 50 years.
