As a first time experience with Airbnb, it was a great one. The place was exactly as described and the abundance of papayas and dragon fruits were a very nice treat. The bananas weren't ripe during my stay but that wasn't an issue since there's a nearby local grocery strore. The place is nice and tidy and provides everything you'll likely need as it were your own place of residence.
It's somewhat inclusive and private, a very nice large deck looking out into the ocean and a gas grill which made home cooking a blast. It's a lower in-law unit and no issues with upstairs noise. Again, it was a great first time experience with no issues.
Christine and Milt are fantastic hosts. They were very responsive, super accommodating and . They had a lot of great resources for us such as best places to eat, etc. so everything was set when we arrived.
The home is absolutely stunning. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean.
I recommend staying at Christine and Milt's :)
What a wonderful stay! We loved our time at Lani Iki (which truly is a "little heaven!"). The view is stunning and the accommodations were just right for us. We loved eating our meals out on the lanai and dining on the yummy fruit that Christine and Milt shared with us. We can't wait to return on our next trip to the Big Island! Mahalo nui loa!
Wow! What a great place! It has every thing to relax, get to intressting sites near by and look over the ocean and see the sunset. We, a family with two children had a amazing stay.
Like others said, the pictures can't possibly do this place justice. The views were amazing, and the area was really enjoyable overall.
If you are looking for a lovely place to stay with incredible bay views, privacy but an available host if need be, and excellent value for money, then this is it. The location was good for all our planned trips either to the beaches or the volcanoes. Clean, with all cooking utensils one might need, very useful material provided by the hosts to explore the area (including lots of snorkeling gear) as well as background information on Hawaiian culture, music etc, we could not have asked for more - and to watch the sunset from your own porch with hot tub is probably as good as it gets... go and enjoy!
we had a great stay at their awesome place! the view is just amazing, the tropical garden is beautiful and the location is quiet! the flat is perfect, very spacious and confortable! and if you nee anything, since Christine & Milt live right above your head, it's easy to ask! they were very helpful lending us snorkeling gears and body board. I would definitely recommend this place! it was super!
