  • Beautiful room, very clean in a quite area up hill, close to the airport and to the city center. Very convenient. Pam's banana bread was yum.
    Thank you Pam.

  • My husband and I stayed with Pam for 5 days and it was so lovely. She was fun and bubbly and had the cutest dogs in the World ( if you are a doggy lover like myself.) She was very helpful to find fun places to go and do things and site-see and was really accommodating with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time with Pam!! Thanks again !!

  • Very nice and spaceous room with en suite bathroom. The bed was big and comfortable for the two of us. We had our own entrance. There were loads of beach items we were free to use. Pam was a great host.
We enjoyed our stay a lot.
The location is quiet but at the same time very convenient for trips in the area as Hyws are nearby.

  • My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Pam’s cottage; it is truly a tropical and lush hideaway! The location was perfect, close to town and to the beaches but cool and secluded after a long day in the sun. Pam is a fantastic host; we felt well cared for our entire four-night stay. The cottage is clean, nicely furnished, and well appointed. We were given access to beach toys and towels as well as info for the best beaches and surf spots. Should you find yourself in Kailua-Kona, we highly recommend it!

  • Had a great stay at Pam's tropical hideaway. The mauka elevation made for a cool and peaceful rest after long days at the beach. Pam was a gracious hostess and accommodating to what needs I may have had. The room was private, clean and nicely decorated. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker and small table/chairs outside by the koi pond to have breakfast by. She even helped hook me up with some masters ocean swimmers on Oahu (the island I was headed to next). Every thing that one might need for the beach was there for me to use. In the morning, it was a quick and easy pop down the mountain to town or beaches. I would recommend staying here.

  • I would highly recommend this place to stay in Kona,Big island. Very close to Alii Drive which is really great place for great food with ocean view. One of the advantage staying with her is the complimentary stuff she provides snorkeling gear, beach chairs umbrella(you need them) which is worth the cost and stay. Thanks a lot Pam !!!

  • Mahalo, Pam, for sharing your tropical retreat. I enjoyed my three night stay, lulled to sleep by the pond fountain and the frog/bird symphony. The location was perfect for exploring the Kona coast. Tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean, the cottage provided everything one could need. Be sure to call for directions before your arrival. Although not remote, the cul-de-sac is a bit tricky to find.

My husband and I were raised in the Hawaiian Islands and have a wealth of knowledge about Hawaii and the Big Island. We are available should you need any information or inside scoop! The cottage is separate from the main house but close enough should you need anything. We look forward to having you enjoy the tropics!
