This is a large two bedroom upstairs apartment. The kitchen is small but all of the other rooms are bright and roomy. Hardwood floors throughout most areas.
Full run of house including front porch upstairs and side deck. Use of driveway in back. There are no inside connections between the upstairs and downstairs apartment, each has their own entry.
Interaction with Guests
Very little. We will give you a code for the door that will be good for the duration of your stay. Housekeeping and meals are not included but are available on request for an additional fee.
I like the small town atmosphere, they are very friendly around here. Not afraid to wave or say hi.
Currently there is no local transportation. Unless you're looking for a horse drawn carriage ride. (See the guidebook)
Other Things to Note
This is a "work in progress". The stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer are all apartment sized. The smaller bedroom is REALLY, REALLY pink. There is only one small closet for both bedrooms.
No smoking in the house, but the side deck and covered front porch are available. Pets are welcome, but PLEASE clean up after them.
I love this little town, and the apartment was absolutely wonderful. Brian and Suzanne left me little notes, here and there, to make the visit very comfortable and enjoyable. Peaceful setting, wonderfully maintained, and exceptionally clean. I'll be back again!
Great place!!! The hosts paid great attention to details which is greatly appreciated! The house was extremely cool. Keep it up!
We had a great experience staying here in this historic house. It was a lot bigger than we thought. Would most definitely stay here again!
I had a wonderful experience with Suzanne and her property. I rented the place for a month while on a clinical clerkship in Lexington and was pleasantly surprised with the home. It was much more spacious than I had originally thought and nicely furnished. It is in an excellent location and a quiet neighborhood. Suzanne was very friendly and able to help us out when we had some electrical issues after a big storm. I would highly recommend her.
About the Host, Suzanne
My boyfriend and I have been working on this house in our spare time, what little there is of it and enjoy staying there when we visit family in town. We love our pets and know you do too, so if they are well mannered they are always welcome here. We love hiking, power paragliding (him, not me) and swimming. This is our first venture into Airbnb, please be patient with us as we learn. We are kind of shy, so you won't see us much if at all, but please contact us via text, email or phone if you have any questions. Hint - email works best.
Sit on our front porch and you'll be looking right at it from just one block away.
