Super-clean, uncluttered, private apartment for rent.
One large bedroom with comfy queen bed, full kitchen, claw-foot tub and best bathtub/shower pressure ever! Stained concrete floors, double paned windows, good light. Private garden courtyard!
Nice new everything. This is an ADU (accessory dwelling unit) attached to my house and is not a permanent residence for anyone; therefore, you won't be crowded with anyone's personal stuff! The place is equipped with extra toiletries, towels, sheets, blankets etc. I try to keep a good stash of tea and coffee and there are multiple ways to make your morning cup -including drip coffee, french press, and espresso.
The neighborhood is awesome. I am only 2 blocks from Alberta street (Alberta Arts District) and not far from the Historic Mississippi neighborhood. Getting to a great coffee shop, bakery, bar, restaurant is a 5-20 minute walk. You can get downtown in 20-30 minutes on the bus or on bike. In the summer months on Sundays there is a fabulous farmers market across the street.
If you stay here you can snack on some raspberries or blueberries in your own private garden, and you might get to taste my plum jelly that I made from the tree in the back yard!
Hope to hear from you soon!
My boyfriend and I LOVED our stay here! The apartment had everything we needed. Logistics with the host were very easy. The apartment was clean, spacious and well stocked. The first thing my boyfriend said was, "This is perfect. I could live here."
This apartment was perfect! I haven't ever stayed in a place that was as fully stocked as this apartment. Absolutely everything was thought of: every kind of kitchen utensil you would ever need, three different ways to make coffee, a brita water filter, various soaps etc and even a bottle of Aleve that totally saved my life one night when I had a killer headache.
I usually have trouble sleeping- but the bed was comfy and the bedroom was dark and quiet at night so I had no trouble.
We brought our dog who absolutely loved the dog friendly park that was right across the street.
OH! One more thing- the shower is really wonderful. Great water pressure. I didn't get a chance to take a bath, but it looked like it would have been deliciously relaxing.
Staying here was definitely a highlight of our trip! It was clean, comfy and very homey. It was in walking distance to Alberta Arts District, which made for a nice morning and/or evening stroll. We'd love to stay here again on our next trip to Portland! Thank you Lisa!
Lovely apartment - had everything we needed and Lisa was very accommodating. Great place to stay in Portland.
Lovely basement apartment with all the basics. Close to a fantastic neighborhood and central to most of Portland. Recommend!
I stayed at Lisa's apt (phone number hidden). On Sunday, I woke up to a
Farmer's Market at the park across the street. This is a must-do. It's organic, non-gmo food & produce & quite a few vendors are selling hot food to eat right there. The other mornings, I walked to Tula, a gluten-free bakery with delicious chai latte's. It was raining so the umbrella in the apt was a welcome sight. Thanks for a great experience Lisa.
we arrived in a cold and rainy evening to find a cozy, roomy and very clean apt, it was the perfect home while in town.
We stayed at lisa's place for 4 nights and everything was perfect. Lisa is a great host, always willing to give some precious advices about portland (thanks abigail for your map!). The place was very clean, cosy, and with good coffre. I will totally recommend it.
Loved staying at Lisa's. It was conveniently close to everything & also very quiet. Spacious & super cozy & nice. The clawfoot bathtub is a definite treat! She kindly left a loaf of delicious bread & jar of yummy homemade jam. Thanks Lisa. I'd love to stay again.
From day one Lisa has always been quick to respond which is so nice. My husband and I stayed in Portland for our honeymoon and came across Lisa's place. We LOVED it! This is such a cozy little place and had everything that we needed. We did not get to meet Lisa but I am sure that we would have gotten along just fine. Again, great to communicate with. We were very close to the Alberta Arts District and we really enjoyed that. We could not have picked a better place to stay. It felt like home and we would definitely stay here again.
