This cheerful little cottage is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cheticamp, within walking distance to restaurants and live music venues. It is a quaint and eclectic open concept one-bedroom cottage that would make a good base for exploring the Acadian fishing village or visiting nearby Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

The space
This cottage would work best for solo travellers or couples, as there is only one bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom is located off the bedroom, separated by a heavy drape. This cottage is also better suited for travellers who plan to do minimal cooking as there is not a full kitchen (there is a kitchen counter and sink, mini fridge, toaster oven/hot plate, kettle). Local (roasted in NS) coffee will be available (along with a French press) and a selection of teas. There is a deck on the front of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy sunsets and watching the comings and goings in this little fishing village. For guests with mobility issues, please be aware that there are stairs to the front door (see photos).

During your stay

I enjoy meeting my guests but am also happy to let guests check themselves in. I live and work nearby and although I tend to be busy with work during the summer, I am usually reachable on my cellphone and will do my best to help you enjoy your stay.
