Bed & Breakfast - Private room · W Morris Ave, Fresno, CA 93704, United States

The Space

Offering Queen's bed and Kings' breakfast, Helen's house is located in Fresno, California, 90 miles south from Yosemite and 90 miles west from Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. After the excursion of one national park and leave for another one, you can cool down yourself in the swimming pool in the back yard. If you travel from Los Angeles to northern California by car, this is the perfect place for staying overnight. The neighborhood is very clean and quiet area, which means you can sleep soundly without any noise except birds' chirping in the morning. The guest quarter consists of: a big bedroom, which is bright and clean ; own bathroom with a small refrig ; a very big living room furbished with a big screen TV, piano, etc. You will have a total privacy because it is located at the end of the house, separated from other rooms. There is even a separate entrance door to the street if you want to use it. Kitchen and laundry are open to use.

In the night, you can watch the star in the lighted (in the water) swimming pool and enjoy drinks around the pool after the refreshing dip. If you are not very tired after driving and if it is not too late, Helen always offers complimentary wine or cool beer with very tasty cheese and other goodies.

In the morning, you will have a healthy and abundant breakfast in addition to the fresh fruits. The breakfast includes special omelette, bacon (or chicken sausage or ham, whatever suits you), juice, and the very special toast smeared with avocado and pesto sauce.

Lastly, but not the least, Helen's house is only 1 mile (precisely 0.9 mile) from the highway 41, which means you don't need to drive local road too long in order to arrive here. Also, several important grocery stores are very near. You name it: Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Food Max, Save mart, etc. whatever suits your preference, which means you can refurbish your nutritional necessity anytime. They are all less than 5 minutes driving distance. So, why not visit Helen's place when you are in Fresno? Her dog, Oreo, is another addition to this welcoming place.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and Helen may have set the bar too high for our future Airbnb stays! We were planning on heading to Whole Foods but were pleasantly surprised that Helen had a full Korean dinner ready when David & I arrived. It was delicious! She even cooked us a full breakfast even though we told her we had brunch plans. Helen was a gracious host and pleasant conversationalist.

  • Helen was an amazing host! She made us delicious and ample breakfasts, sent us each day with snacks, made us delicious dinner, and went above and beyond to help us be prepared for our days! She even gave me a ride to my interview when I misplaced my keys! A wonderful host!

  • This was my first time using airbnb and honestly I don't know if any other airbnb home could beat Helen's place! I now have very high expectations! She is the nicest Korean woman my friend and I have ever met. If you read all the other reviews they are all true. She is truly kind, makes really great food, has a great personality, and is very giving. The place we stayed in as well was really nice and comfortable. She was always ready to help us with our needs and we had very enjoyable conversations. We felt very safe and cared for in this home. Also I love her cat and dog! <3

You will be very happy to talk to her because she know a lot of different things including arts, history etc. My favorite is the breakfast she cooked for us, the kimchi omelet is fantastic! Best ever! P.S. Her little dog and cat are very cute. I had a really good experience at her place and I highly recommended it.

  • Helen is great. David and I felt right at home with our dog Doris. She was very attentive and prepped great meals and fruits. It was a nice home base as we were in town for my cousins wedding and helping out with decorations. Oreo is a great host too we enjoined him a lot.

  • Helen was a really nice and friendly person! We arrived quite late but she immediately made us feel home. She is a real 'house mom' and does her best to make your stay as good as possible. The rooms were very clean as well.

  • Helen was the greatest host imaginable. I've never felt so welcome in someone's home. She is certainly a host who would never see her guests go hungry. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were good and Helens dog mr Oreo was wonderful company. I would highly recommend Helens home as a base for visiting the three national parks.
