House Rules

It is a non-smoking apt but there are balconies you can use if you want to smoke and I even have ashtrays.

There is a washing machine, but you will have to pay for usage (too many people have taken liberties in the past). There are laundrettes nearby that are much faster and have dryers as well.

When using bathroom or kitchen you are responsible for cleaning up after yourselves, I cannot always be on hand to do it.

Our stay at Lee's apartment was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, really close to the city centre and in walking distance of pretty much everything, but far enough away that you're not constantly surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Lee was really helpful and accommodating. He gave us great suggestions and answered all of questions. The apartment itself was perfect for us and we would happily stay here again should we return to Barcelona. We would highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much Lee!

Lee was a friendly host making us feel very welcome. The room was really nice and spacious. Perfect for what we needed. The apartment itself is very central, there are good transit connections nearby and most things can be walked to without much effort. I wholeheartedly recommend this room and Lee as a host.

A fantastic room in a great, trendy area of Barcelona. Walkable diatance to most sites. Lee was helpful in explaining the basics of Barcelona and was always willing and able to assist. High ceiling room and private balcony made the stay very comfortable!

Clean, comfy and central location with a polite, considerate and relaxed host. 10 minute walk to the La Rambla, Cafes and shops within 1 minute walk. Taxi to the center costs 5 euros, to the beach 8 euros. Also subways and bus stops really close. I would recommend Lee's place to my best friends and would gladly stay as a guest at his place when visiting the city again!

Lee's place is a basic apartment with a comfy bed and a nice view from the roof terrasse. It's right on the outskirts of the Raval neighborhood and about a 15 minute walk to La Rambla. Barcelona a busy, noisy city, and the street noise travels up to the 5th floor apartment, but the double-pane french doors of our room shut out the noise almost completely.

I have travelled quite a lot and lived in several different countries, I spent nearly 5 years in Argentina and most of that time lived in the apt listed in Buenos Aires, when I first moved there it was a fairly quiet barrio but I knew it would become something much more popular, Palermo Viejo was back then very popular with foreigners so it was obvious the place to be was across the tracks.

I now live in Barcelona and think the area I live in is perfect, as it is very central without the negative aspects of the overly tourist areas around La Rambla etc.

Mercat de San Antoni has everything you need in terms of travel and amenities and you can stroll to the centre in 10 mins, or, in 15 mins you can walk in the other direction and find yourself close to Monjuic and the peace and greenery that it offers. I love going there to sit on the grass and read a book in the shade when it's very hot as not only is there plenty of grass and trees but you usually benefit from cool breezes as well.
