Claudia is clearly very used to the airbnb model. I found her quick to respond to me and was good to accommodate me with my last minute booking during a busy week for milan. The apartment itself is as the original old milanese style would have been, somewhat retro even. The furniture's were basic and it was clean and well located.
I found the apt a little dark for my liking, which cant be helped of course as its in a city. There was no duvet cover on the bed which didn't work great for me as I'm kind of allergic to duck feathers (reduced dramatically when there is a duvet cover ) and i got a big bunged up because of it. I know she took the booking last minute so maybe this is why there was none ready.
Claudia left lots of supplies and was easy going about me leaving my luggage the next day and called me a taxi too.
Claudia was a warm and welcoming host. She gave us some fantastic recommendations regarding local restaurants and was most helpful. The flat was conveniently located and within walking distance of most of most of the main attractions. The flat was clean and well presented. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Milan!
Claudia is a very nice host. The key exchange was simple and food and wine very welcoming in that super central, super nice apartment.
I recommand staying there!
Booking the apartment was very easy with Claudia. Claudia was not in Milan the night we arrived, so her friend met us at the apartment with the keys. Claudia kindly left some instructions on nearby restaurants, buses etc. The location is very good, about a 15 minute walk to the main square where the Duomo is. We are also about a 5/10 minute walk from the canals. Claudia also let us leave our bags in her apartment until 6pm on the day we were leaving. A very nice place to stay!
