What a beautiful, comfortable, and friendly place to stay! After 2 weeks in cramped hotel rooms, this adorable home with the large bedroom, spacious bathroom, and breathtaking view off the balcony was our much needed retreat! Marsha was a gracious hostess and thoughtful of our every need. She provided the perfect amount of hospitality and privacy during our time in her home and shared with us all the local "secrets." She also secured for us a reservation for a wine tasting and food pairing at the local SAIO Winery for the day after we arrived, all we had to do was show up! If you are looking for a quaint, quiet stay, with all the comforts of home, breathtaking views and friendly hospitality, this is your place!
We were greeted warmly, and any questions we had about points of interest were answered with reliable comments and/or an information pamphlet. The neighborhood is classic rural Assisi where one wakes to roosters crowing and the music of field birds. There was a panoramic view of the Umbria valley from our room and private terrace, where where the sunsets were spectacular.
Dear Masha, thank you for the most wonder stay in Umbria. You could not have been more accomadating. Your "little piece of heaven" away from the madding crowds of Assissi was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the trouble you went to sending my box home and the great local restaurants you pointed us to. The room and balcony certainly did not disappoint, the view is etched into my mind forever. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. Ann and I both send our love and gratitude Tracy
Staying at Marsha's place was ideal. Her two spacious rooms and the huge bathroom was brilliant. Access to the upstairs outside terrace added extra room to rest after some long days.
Marsha's very generous breakfasts and willingness to assist with tourist was very helpful. This included recommendations to two amazing restaurants.
Definitely highly recommend Marsha's place for any length of stay. Marsha is a lovely host who respects your privacy and is there to help you when needed.
Thank you for such a lovely, peaceful home were I could hang my hat! I enjoyed our conversations very much. I love your home, the view and the location! I hope to return next time I come to italy.
Thank you for the book :-) I realized I have taken a course from him on Saltspring Island when I first started painting! Will send you photos of my art show.
Thank you again for all your help :-)
