Where you’ll be

Caunes-Minervois, Occitanie, France

The house was built in the late 1800's when Caunes was a centre for marble quarrying and finishing, renowned for its distinctive pink marble.

There are various restaurants we recommend, including the pizzeria a few doors down, La Mangeoire, La Table d'Emilie and the tapas bar.

For activities- there are vineyard tours, walking trails, pottery making, the Abbey and a local market. Into Carcassonne, it is recommended to visit to both the castle (la Cité) and Lac de la Cavayere, where inflatables are set up in the summer, with kayaking, pedalos and paddle boarding. Festival de Carcassonne also runs throughout July, with big music acts performing in the medieval city.
